I recently got this idea to redesign the main characters from Video Brinquedo's 'Little Princess School', since the majority of them are just badly animated clones of the Disney Princesses. Now for one of the more blantantly ripped off princesses: Cindy.Initially, I had no idea how to go about redesigning Cindy, as she is a one-to-one clone of Cinderella -right down to the name! I did have the idea of making her British (like as a member of the royal family), so I first looked at costumes worn by the Spice Girls, but couldn't find anything that clicked. Then I looked at British fashion from the 1960's and went with that. She looks so prim and proper, as I imagine that while Iria is the sporty one in the group, Cindy would be the more fashionable, political one. Basically the leader type.
