I thought I would post a quick WIP shot of my latest piece because I'm really proud of myself for getting this far! As you can see, I still have to tackle those tricky lil paws.Related content

Thanks! It's the molding and casting process that terrifies me. Something to look forward to!

Out of curiosity, would you ever think of doing one of these as a commission? He's just so adorable and would go perfectly with the little girl bjd I'm thinking of one day ordering.
I personally like the face the best. Those eyes are so heartwarming and expressive. :3 Can't wait to see him when he's done.

Well if everything goes according to plan, I am going to make some resin casts and put those up for sale Thank you so much for your kind words, it really does encourage me to stick with it!

Wow, that looks awesome! I really don't like rabbits, but this little fella is just so great, i can't stop watching him. You're doing a great job and i can't wait seeing this creation finished! Is it made out of sculpey? Will you cast your rabbit in resin later?
I'd love to make a BJD by myself, but i have no idea how to startβ¦

I'm not a huge rabbit fan either but for some reason, I just had to try this. No idea why! It is made from Sculpey and I do want to make some molds and cast a few in resin but I really have no idea where to start with that. I was thinking of finding someone to make the molds for me, don't suppose you'd be interested? Hehehe.
I read a few tutorials on the internet and just decided to jump in and give it a try, the most annoying thing is constantly stringing it together to check if the joints are working how you want them to but I am really enjoying it so far.

Yup! It's really hard to get them working right! And I've been trying to adapt the tutorials I could find which are only for humans but I think I'm doing OK so far

It is quite tricky, I won't lie. But I have a feeling once you've done it it becomes pretty sraightforward. My only problem is I hate planning things and well with these, you really have to
