As the night air grew crisp, the wind howled and fought against Amber and Maddox's fur. She knew tonight would be windy, but she'd no idea the storm would be this powerful. Amber fought through it and struggled with her companion to continue onward. All of a sudden, she felt something land on her forehead, it was wet and cold.
"Did you feel that?" Amber asked Maddox
"Yea." He responded through heavy breaths.
"Its gonna rain." Amber stated
The pair were freezing in this night air but they had to continue forward, they had to keep moving, Maddox had claimed to see Cherry and Yippers go on an adventure by themselves, but they still havent made it back home yet. Of course, they had to go out on their own during an extreme weather alert. Nomatter, whats done is done and they had to deal with the aftermath. Amber heard a clap in the sky made by thunder, it struck the ground hard and with that, rain started to pelt downward.
"WE NEED TO GO!" Maddox shouted, running straight, Amber followed close behind
Up ahead, the pair saw a big tall building, the structure was gothic with gargoyles and pointed roofs, a big twisted and dead tree lay in the front yard. The rain pelting so hard and thunder rining throughout the lands, they had no choice but to take cover in this mansion.
"In the mansion!" Amber called
"What if someone lives there?" Maddox questioned
"Im sure theyll understand, given the circumstances!" Amber proceeded to the big bulky iron clad doors. She pushed hard and the doors creaked open
"INSIDE!" She demanded, fear and anxiety running through them. Maddox took no second glance as he bolted in.
"Where are we?" Maddox asked
"I dont know, the weathers too bad out there, we cant continue to look for Cherry and Yippers, I hope theyre alright." Amber said, defeated.
The two nebulruffs were drenched in water, fur clung to their skin making them look a little silly. When the two were able to settle down, they started looking around them. Inside this big mansion, were grand marble stairs leading high up to the other floors. The floor was cold and hard, made of stone. The decorations seemed to be that from a medieval era, skeletons of dogs and deer skulls lined around the area, and spiders clung to the walls. Amber felt nothing but fear.
"Who are you?" Came a voice to the left side by the stairs.
"AH!" Maddox jumped
"Oh, Im Amber and this is Maddox, sorry to barge in! we mean no harm! The storms really bad outside and were looking for our friends, Cherry and Yippers, you havent seen them have you?" Amber responded, fear trembled in her voice but she had to be strong for her friends.
"Cherry and Yippers? My, those sound like the visitors I just had, is it a pink dog and a small yellow terror?" The voice questioned. Her voice was soft and didnt appear threatnening, when Amber walked closer, she excitedly called
"Yes! thats them! Oh stars, how did they get here?"
"Hey, who are YOU?" Maddox questioned behind Amber.
the voice chuckled to itself before coming out from the shadows
"My names Frankie!" The two nebulruffs were amazed at how short she was, she was about half the size of Amber.
"Well, its nice to meet you, Frankie!" Amber said
"Wheres Yippers and Cherry?" Maddox questioned. Frankie looked upstairs.
The two friends made their way up the stairs, thunder and rain pelted outside, the storm didnt seem to be letting up anytime soon. Amber was thankful she had found her friends and she could take cover in this mansion for the time being. When they got to the top, Cherry stood on the balcony outside with Yippers next to her
"YIPPERS! CHERRY!" Amber called out
Cherry stared out into the storm. Yippers say unmoving. Something was keeping them there, frozen in place
"Yippers?" Amber questioned, doubt creeping into her voice.
In a brilliant flash and bang that rang throughout the hills, thunder struck the pair on the balcony. Amber and Maddox yelped and jumped backwards, bellies low to the ground in fear. When the blindness subsided, Amber looked at Cherry and Yippers, they had changed from the lightning strike. Cherrys space dust went from pink to an orange coloration, the heart on her chest turned upside down and her space dust had lightning bolts coarse through it. Yippers fur turned dark in color and he was much bigger, his tail because a standard dog tail instead of curled, big hulking teeth poked out of his mouth and he was bigger than Cherry. Cherry turned to look at Maddox and Amber, in icy cold tone she said, with no hint of fear in her voice
"Cherry? no, no, My name is Sherry." Her mouth parted to show a dastardly grin, nothing but the sound of rain and thunder could be heard.

this event allows for UNLIMITED ENTRIES!!  The prizes will be various items you will need to be able to craft new traits!
yes, you heard me, CRAFTING is now a thing (for this event atleast), items you get can be crafted into different limited edition traits, these limited edition traits (LE traits for short) are traits you will only be able to get ONCE A YEAR, so every October they will return, but after october, it is impossible to get these traits

These are the items you may encounter on your Howloween journey!

Every week there will be a new halloween themed event, these events will grant you the ability to earn double the amount of whatever item is being handed out that week!

Q: do i need a nebulruff to participate?
A: nope, you can use any nebulruff from NebulruffsMasterlist

Q: How do I apply limited edition traits to my nebulruff?
A: once you get enough items to craft the trait, redesign your nebulruff with the trait (Or add it to your MYO) and the items will be deducted for that trait!

Q: How should I expect prizes to be handed out?
A: Each submission will earn 1-2 items, however, there are bonuses that can apply that can raise the amount of items you receive! each week will have new bonuses laid out for your convenience (such as shading, background, drawing other peoples nebulruffs ect...) and that weeks multiplied item on top of it. Please look at the calendar to prepare and see what is coming next!

Q: What happens to my items after the event?
A: they get turned into star tokens if any go unused

Q: can i gift or trade my items?
A: yes! it is encouraged users help each other out by trading items for other items

Q: how many entries are we allowed to submit?
A: as many as you want!

Q: What is the difference between a nebulruff and werewolf form?
A: a werewolf form MUST be bigger than their regular canine form, it MUST change their tail to be a standard dog tail and it must give them oversized teeth! Wings, horns, spikes or any other trait like that can still be kept, but shaped tails, wispy, stub or any other tail MUST be changed into a standard dog tail!!
