Personally, I like the style, especially this that even if he is so simple, the lines aren't stiff and make him look fluffy, cosy.. very simpatico.
Well the only 'stiff' element is this fur on the neck. Maybe it should change a bit in diifferent positions..
But I definitely love the tail!

As an artist and someones whose animated before I do prefer simple to over complicated for animation works. But one of the problems I use to run into before I could handle mid complications is a lot of the designs look the same. While he isn't a flat solid color he could use perhaps one more marking on him to make sure that no one get's close enough to the fox design wise. I can say that the design it self is cute as it is as well and the colors is a good bet to work on for simplicity but I could say you could add a marking on the shoulder /leg/ face/ back so that he is more unique.

As a simple animated style the style it self is fine and good but I've noticed that the ears are a bit not fox shape but that in it self isn't really a negative as it dose making him look more stylized and can add some characterization to Foxglove.

The image it self is very soft on the eyes and the gentle colors give it a well blend the poses are quite good and I do love the exaggerations on the first one. You did a very clever thing by adding the green as it dose draw you into the image great job.

Anyways I am quite curious about your animation!

So as you ask for feedbacks on the style of the character, here you go:
Personally, I do like this character's stylization ! All that round shapes make him look really soft and nice, that is what, I think, you wanted :> I believe that using rounded shapes instead of more pointy/squared one can make the character look way different, and these shapes fit well this one! Also, I like the very simple design/colour scheme ! Those warm colours makes the character even cuter and nice-looking I think <3
The only lil thing looking a bit odd is the neck mane, I think it shouldn't be that high - maybe it would have been better a bit lower but bigger ? The black eyes with white pupils look a bit weird to me too, but I can understand that's an artistic choice of yours !

So, in a nutshell: this character is lovely and I believe you nailed his "shape design", though some things are slightly weird to me - but as I said it's more something regarding my tastes than a "universal critique", haha ;v;
