It’s a red panda! I ‘strategically’ tried to hide the fact that I have no idea what a red panda looks like when it is sitting down.
Applied some new and old techniques here that I want to start using in the comment. Made in Photoshop CS5 and took about three days to finish. I want to use this in a tutorial explaining how I coloured it.

Really nice rendering of the fur on her tail! I think the fur on the darker parts could use more detail and lines to indicate its furriness, alongside shading with colors will help enhance the image or adding highlights to increase contrast.
What an adorable pose!! And she's giving the viewer the puppy eyes, who could possibly resist? * A*
This cartoonistic style is favorable and simple. The flower is done very suitably - I wouldn't ask it to be changed at all. I think The background goes along great with the red panda and the flower!

So this is my very first critique, i hope i help~!
First, I absolutely adore this. You are very skilled at anatomy, it looks perfectly drawn! I think you could improve on the paws and that they are a little too rounded; but something about this makes the picture look very cute despite not looking realistic. The contrast of the colours suits it well, you have given it texture and it looks like real fur. Overall, i would say the only thing you might need to work on is the lines - possibly make them lighter? I don't know how much photoshop costs on it's own because I bought the entire Creative Suite (which was very expensive, even with my student discount). If you want to buy it and you're a colledge or University student I bet you can get a big discount

Omigosh, this is so cute! It's very detailed, beautiful, and...words can't describe how amazing this is. The shading was done great, I can't see anything wrong with it. It's nearly perfect. I just have to say, for where the orange and the brown fur meet, you should try to ease out of the one color into the next. (That probably doesn't make sense) But really you did awesome
