Haha, well, I like the Zelda manga more for the art and the fun of seeing the games adapted into visual novels than for story/character development, so keep that in mind. I hope you enjoy it if you check it out though!

Never was aware there was an LTTP-manga - I only heard about those comics done for Nintendo Power instead.
This makes me want to see the original scene though, because this scene looks quite somber and melancholic. The colors seem strangely fitting and are quite illuminatingly warm too.

Yeah, there was an old comic for it published in Nintendo Power, which had a less idealized ending than the later one by Akira Himekawa. Many of the Zelda games did get manga by Akira Himekawa, which I'm happy about since I like their art quite a bit. I enjoy the older comic as well though.
The scene is here" and here . It was supposed to be a moment of hope and healing in a darkest-hour scenario, and I did think the original scene was rather somber, so I'm glad you get that impression and that the colors fit! I wanted it to have warmth, but also a hint of the darkness that's still just fading, hence the melancholy.

Himekawa did the manga... should have known. After all, she provides the best and most recognizable Zelda-mangas in my eyes!

What I mean is, there are two of them that work on the illustrations. I met them both in Dubai and watched them draw ^_^Β Akira Himekawa is their pen name... I know, I was surprised myself...
