Download is highly recommended, thanks!It's finally done! There it is, the final ref of one of my main characters for my story. I worked for years on her design and now it's complete. There are still some things I'm not completely satisfied with but at least this design finally feels right now. I'm not a fan of ref sheets full of text so I tried to keep things short as much as I could. If you're still having any questions please don't hesitate to ask. If you like to see the old one, it's in my scraps folder now: [link] .....so ashamed of this thing.
Another side note: Valkyrerjar's are not an open species, so you aren't aloud to make one right now. Sorry!
edit: made the wing markings stand out more and added more shading to them so they blend better into the wing.

WunderschΓΆn x'D wirklich
Das war sicher viel Arbeit
Ich muss gleich ein, zwei Dinge hervorheben in die ich mich gleich verliebt habe.. Erstmal die Farben. Ich liebe blau, und du hast hier so viele verschiedene TΓΆne verwendet, es sieht toll aus. Vor allem die TΓΌrkisen Akzente bei Krallen und Schwanz sind schΓΆn und stechen auf dem dunklen Blau heraus
Und die Streifen x'D Tigerstreifen, aber nicht zu viel
Das Mosaik auf den Federn ist ΓΌbrigens wirklich einzigartig. Es sieht zwar nicht so natΓΌrlich aus, aber du kannst dir sicher sein dass deine Drachin damit hervorsticht
Besonders hΓΌbsch sind auch die exotischen Federn am Kopf, bisschen wie ein Gesteck xD
Mag ΓΌbrigens auch die Idee mit den Augen
Tolle Drachin, da hast du was einzigartiges (Gott, diese Farben x'D)

Ein wunderschΓΆner Drache, mir gefallen vor allem diese mosaikartigen Muster an der Innenseite der FlΓΌgel. Habe ich bis jetzt noch nie bei einem gesehen! Das Ganze Teil zu Schattieren hat bestimmt Wochen gedauert, oder?
Hat sich aber auf jeden Fall gelohnt

Her design has just taken my breath away 0-0 She is just so beautiful, You colour your characters in such a detailed and smooth way, i'm really jealous! Damn, those wings! They are perfect! I think the how you draw feathers is just GORGEOUS! I really cannot say how much I love her, she is just the creature I would love to see flying through the snowy mountains! You make me really wana go ahead and finish Rabians ref update XD because I think his last ref had waaayy too much text, so Imma make it look more attractive with more pictures

Very nice work. Although, the "stained-glass" looks very artificial, it doesn't blend well in the wing... in fact, this feature was better in the first version.

The first version was completely flat colored. The feathers weren't detailed and the markings were just put on it. It didn't even blend in the wing at all.
But I see the problem in the wing markings. I sill can't find a solution for it.
Guess I shouldn't have shaded this in the first place?

The main problem is that it look like the patterns were pasted on the wing. It doesn't follow the curves of the feathers and seems independent from the motion of the wing.
