Description
A genus of human-derived hominids, bred from kobolds. Called Ŭgh-Bĕml ("goblin-folk") in their language, Ŭgh-Ťado ("goblin tongue"). Indigenous to dangerous marshlands and dense swamps, they are generally isolated from human civilization. Highly carnivorous, and often aggressive, goblin culture is founded on principles of dominance and cannibalism: they often practice both endocannibalism (consumption of their community/tribe's dead) and exocannibalism (consumption of the flesh of enemies to gain their power). Having been scorned by the gods of The Asda for their barbarism, goblins throughout the ages have turned to other spirits such as Brals and Morra as their deities. Though in ages past goblins were more widespread, even having their own notable kingdoms and empires, conflict and racism from competing elves and humans forced them deep into the swamplands.Though humans often believe goblins to be exclusively male, female goblins do exist. However, similarly to hyenas, the genitalia of female goblins greatly resembles that of the males: both sexes possess apparent phallic and scrotal organs, with penile spines.
As they are ultimately derived from humans through extensive blood magick, goblins still possess highly developed brains and vocal capacities, and are bipeds, despite their apish appearance. Stronger in general than humans, their movements are rather apelike: they are limited when running on two legs, however they may move on all-fours at great speed. They are also proficient in arboreal locomotion. Primitive and tribal in their current culture, they cannot forge steel or advanced metals; they make up for what they lack in sophisticated weaponry with sheer brutality and great numbers (as they breed notoriously quickly, with a mere four-month gestation period, and frequently multiple offspring).
Considered hideous and malodorous by human standards, the strong scents their bodies produce resemble putrescent flesh: which is attractive to goblin tastes.

Bonobos are actually some of, if not the very most passive and friendly member of the great apes. This is because they are essentially a type of chimp that developed in parts of African rain forests where there are no predators or competition with bountiful amounts of food all to them. All while chimps live in environments with lots of competition (especially against baboons and gorillas) and have deadly predators such as leopards.

Have you seen TurnerMohan's orcs? They're practically similar to your interpretation of goblins.
