I GOT TIME, so here's the last submission for today~Howl and Sophie. Because I love them. I'd almost be daring to say they're my favourite Ghibli couple (OTP!OTP!), since they have a happy ending (vs Ashitaka and San ;N; ). And are older than say.. Kiki and Tombo or Chihiro and Haku (KxT and CxH are really cute though, heck yeah.)
Howl is a bitch to draw when translating him to realism. I made him a bit manlier, but my sister told me to tone it down, so ... I TRIED OKAY D8
I ship these two like bread and butter

Nice! Great job on both of them. I love Howl's facial expression in the piece. I actually prefer your manlier looking Howl. I thought movie Howl looked like a girl.

I love his ear and the little earring and Sophie's fingers. It was probably a better choice to keep him more animu than realistic. The angle of their heads and the touching noses along with the cropping are just perfect-o :'D

You should do a recording of how you do your lines one of these days. What kind/size brush are you using? And what opacity do you set it to? Just m'curious.

Glad you like it (Eskimo kissu)! sorry about the b/w...again. My exam is on Monday, so I don't have as much time as I'd want. I'll TRY to do some coloured works next week/week after! It won't be OMGAMAZINGGGG, prbly really n00b, but stay with me brah :< [I might even post a b/w version, accompanied by a coloured version for some of my future works, just in case my horrible colouring makes it worse x0 ] Give me loads of time, and I might try to colour this sketch!
Recording my work would be really cool! I don't know how to record stuff I do in photoshop though, other than using my point and shoot camera. which would be loads of fail :C I also re-draw anatomy forever (vs Glen Keane who seems to get anatomy done right the first time *WORSHIPPPPU*). I use one of the default brushes that comes with Photoshop CS5.1 at 100% opacity, unless I'm adding fading effects or something. Super basic!

I don't know if Howl and Sophie get together (forrealz) in the novels! I read the first one and don't remember how it ends between these two (they had the best arguments though. And I recall Howl getting brilliantly drunk once: "I'm cone sold stober!"), but I'm told by other commenters here that it's part of a trilogy!
all I know is I'm going to check that out fo sho when I have time! (my love for these two is like a truck)

well in the movie i know they get together, and if i remember correctly they kinda do in the books. it wasnt very clear, they were talking about living happily ever after and having an argument about why howl did something. i heard in the third book howl turns himself into a three year old, which is a terrifying thought. think of howl drunk times ten....
