Last one today I swear D:The pose is from a famous Hellenistic statue, "The Dying Gaul," and I originally thought that oh what the hey let's work with this with LoZ (happy 25th anniversary~
). Most art history buffs should recognize this pose [maybe?]shame though, since I don't think Link looks like he's dying at all. Looks more like he's disappointed with the size of his master sword :V
more apologies for making him a tad beefcake-y.

I think it's a really great way to show affection/respect/reinvent a piece of classical work without just making a study sketch of the statue.

OoT Link is a bit of a beefcake if you look at his official art. He's got some nice legs. While he doesn't look like he's dying, the pose and expressions is very powerful. Love this.

I agree with Link's disappointment with the size of the Master Sword. I was disappointed when I played the game and saw the "Master Knife" too.

This is a great picture! You're wonderful with shading and his face looks perfect. I think in order to make it look more like he's dying, you'd want to add some cuts and scrapes, or some blood. Or both!
