Description

A space variation of the AM-X403 Maxwell. Designed exclusively for space use, it equips a number of new thruster parts for maneuvering in space. A sub-arm has been added to the back that holds a giant anti-beam shield, displayed in the picture in its retracted state: it is capable of expanding the panels in order to increase its surface area. While the shield is too large and heavy to be used on the ground, it can be made use of in space, allowing the Maxwell to defend against long range attacks while keeping both of its hands free to wield its large beam gatling guns.

Unlike the regular Maxwell, this one is outfitted for long range combat, as combat in space rarely gets up close in personal. In the off chance it does, the underside of the gatling cannons have been reinforced for use as a defensive tool, and the shield mounts one of the Maxwell's shrill blades on the underside. All else fails, it can purge the shield and gatling cannons and go full melee using the blade.
