This is me in my "thoughful pose." It reminds me of Newton, even though it's not an apple tree. The tree was just very cool and I wanted an excuse for a picture of it.Related content

I'm glad to see that you have a new camera... or are these old pictures? Either way, I love this shot, it's so peaceful. The tree is magnificent.

Yes, it is a very impressive tree and it looks good in black and white, too... now I wish that I had just taken one without me in it... but for some reason I find pictures without people in them less interesting... although I think this tree could have held its own. btw, my friend Sara took this picture. thanks for the comment.

I though about that. But then I realized that it would't be as interesting because you wouldn't know how big the tree was. At least with you in it, we can mesure it more or less (it's the size that makes it beautiful).

As an experiment I put my thumb over myself in this picture to see how it looked and it really wasn't as impressive... good call.
LOL... yeah, I didn't doubt that you knew I wasn't behind the lens, I just wanted to give credit where it was due.
