Fanatic97 commissioned thisApparently, Hasbro almost made a Sari Sumdac action figure recently. She would've been based on a recent Windblade model.
And then they didn't end up doing it.
Weep! Weep for what might've been!
Especially because this raises some questions.
1. I'd assumed that she was a minicon who scanned a human as her alt mode, given her size
2. If she "grows up" into a full-blown flyer, that suggests that she probably wasn't a minicon.
3. If 2 is true, than perhaps her minicon sized body was because despite being like physically 14 as a human, by Cybertronian reckoning she's still a baby?
4. (And most pressing) who sent her to Earth and why? Did it have anything to do with Megatron, considering she materialized in the lab where Isaac was keeping him?

Well I figured she wasn't just some Mini-Con because, 1. they didn't really ever show any and 2. she seemed kind of...special. She got what was essentially the Key to Vector Sigma, and could do all sorts of crazy shit once she upgraded herself into being a full-fledged Transformer.

I was so sad when they cancelled Animated, I mean it was not lik they did not have a satisfactory conclusion, but it felt like they had so much more to do and say. Also Sari is amazing and I feel we needed to know her real story

Yeah, and they'd been planning so much cool stuff! They recently released concept art of this story arc that was like the Bots trapped in a virtual world that was basically the Old West but on Cybertron. And then Hasbro decided "nah".
Then they took TFP, the one with (in my opinion) the best animation, voice acting, and general tone (maybe because it didn't feel as focused on BUY OUR TOYS as very nearly every other series *ahem RID2015 we're looking at you*). And they were gonna have a season 4 with space pirates. Space Pirates!
But once again, Hasbro decided "nah".
It's like every time they have an actually good Transformers series, they don't know what to do and so they panic and self-sabotage or something.

Maybe they do not want to top themselves
If they make a series too good people will always want them to keep going back to that: that can be very limiting bot in terms of the market and trying to be creative? Also I hear animated was hit by some major production issues following season 3.

I wonder if there was also conflict between departments, like with tfp (aka merchandising took so long to actually make stuff for the show that it didn't make as much money, and evidently there were spats between Hasbro and the story department regarding a multitude of things)

#4 was the plot point I was so upset they never expanded on or even attempted to clarify. It was just "here's an alien child you can imprint on!" and left there to slowly wither.

Hasbro kind of has a problem with finishing the things they start...

I mean, it's okay to leave some things open to speculation (Dark Souls and Bloodborne do it spectacularly) and TFP does is pretty well at points. But if its a main plot point like Sari is you need to help clarify the why and who instead of just the how and when. You don't even need to outright state it -- you can give enough information to let the viewer come to their own conclusion, and leave it open to interpretation through intentionally vague information, as Bloodborne does with Byrgenwerth for example.

That's good to hear, renovations. I hear ya, I'm waiting to get my bedrooms handle of my tub fixed. So, till then I'm using upstairs bathroom to bathe!

The handle is loose, the water comes on, bu it's either too hot, or tepid.

"It was after nine O'clock, or whatever Galra time, right?" Vanessa asked.
"Yes..." Zarkon asked warily.
"Then, he's face first on her bed, fast asleep." Vanessa explained.
