"I gotta agree with Miko this time. The pressure on the outside of this craft's hull is immense: if we stay beyond our allotted twelve minutes, we'll be crushed and probably drown at the same time. Not how I wanted to spend my Labor Day weekend, Jack."

"Look Raf, if I knew how to explain this, I would. All I know is Optimus said something about activating a beacon in here, and that Bumblebee was going to need to be here. He didn't say why, you know he never does."

"Riiight. Because it's so much easier than just Bridging to Bee's coordinates ourselves!" the younger agent hissed, flinching at an unfamiliar sound coming from one of the derelict escape pods.

Jack and Miko exchanged glances as they drew their weapons, listening for the sound again. "Since when is Junior so sarcastic?" Miko whispered.

None of the three spoke above a murmur as they made their way through the antique Decepticon ship. Somehow, it felt like desecrating a tomb.

A pair of blue eyes flickered to life in the alcove they had just passed, reflected by hundreds more in every abandoned pod.

They were not alone.

Okay, I just really want the Tformers: Prime kids to show up again. Jack and Raf were the first boy sidekick characters that I didn't find really annoying. Miko grew on me after a while, but at first I thought she'd never replace Sari on my list of "not-annoying kid sidekicks". But she did...she's actually more my favorite than Sari was now. So it's hard for me to just let those three go.

Jack's legs ended up totally the wrong length, unless I wanted to make the floor slope up the other direction, so I just cropped out the legs entirely. Oh well.
