Description My robot son that I never really got to draw. Decided that I wanted to fix that, so I redesigned him and threw this together. I'm not entirely sure if I want to tackle my "headworld" concept as an actual project yet, so I think I'm just going to start posting bits and pieces and see how it goes from there.

Personality: Jaimie is kind of quiet, very loyal, and prides himself as being a walking database. He loves learning new things and storing the info away for future use. He also likes gardening and caring for living creatures. he wears hoodies and sweaters a lot, sometimes more than one at the same time. Extreme cold doesn't actually bother him, so this is mostly because he wants to be more huggable. He envies organic creatures for their squishiness. He's not necessarily naive, but it's not hard to get him to do things, even if he disagrees. Jaimie is very much not interested in being the center of attention. He can get shy and embarrasses easily. He's a music lover, and one of his favorite parts of being a robot is the fact that he can listen to music whenever he wants. He can get extremely lonely and doesn't make friends easily or quickly. This is partly due to him being shy and partly due to him not believing that people actually want to be his friend, as well as the fact that he doesn't even consider being friends with someone unless he's known them for an extremely long time. He's definitely does not have a violent nature, but he's not afraid to fight if he thinks he has to.

History: He was originally built by the Masters of his world  as a sort of failsafe. Since their world revolves around the Masters, if the Masters were ever to leave, the world would fall apart. Jaimie was created in order to delay the inevitable destruction that would result in the Masters leaving for whatever reason. This duty includes taking care of all of the other headworld residents, which can get tricky since there are over 8 of them and they're scattered all over the world. This tragedy occurred only once, and Jaimie was just barely able to keep everyone alive until the Masters returned. When they did, he sort of went off on his own for a while, trying to do some soul searching now that his primary function has basically been deemed to never happen again.

And some design notes because I actually put some thought and reason into his functionality:
Jaimie's consciousness is made up of magic that gets translated into zeros and ones. All of his soul information is contained in a blue orb that acts as his right eye. When set into any kind of mechanical structure, Jaimie is able to go into the "brain" of that machine and control it from within. The blue orb is set into a sphere that acts as both Jaimie's mechanical brain as well as a backup body should his main body get too damaged to function properly (this is only as long as his head is relatively undamaged, of course). his "skull" can come apart at the back or even explode outwards in an emergency. While electricity is what actually powers his body, Jaimie also emits a sort of magical current that allows him to feel things almost as if he were alive. There are a few exceptions to this and he can control it to an extent. He tends to stifle this current entirely when fighting so he doesn't feel pain. He's mostly made of metal, but the darker green bits are more like a rubber or fabric of various levels of squishiness. This is so his chest cavity isn't so rigid and won't crack as easily. This also allows him to mimic breathing motions. The only reason he would mimic breathing motions is so he can sigh dramatically. His nose is skeleton-like in order to keep his brain cool (it heats up like a laptop when he's thinking hard, stressed, embarrassed, etc) He hears through internal mics but also has "ear holes" to add ventilation. The LEDs on his hands light up, as well as both eyes. Jaimie is built for speed more than anything else, and even though he can technically lift much more than a human can, he has trouble doing so because he doesn't weigh much more than a human of his height, and his balance is less than stellar. The dark parts of his body act like solar panels. this is how he gets most of his energy, though he does have a cord that connects to a port at the base of his skull. he doesn't need to sleep but can go into a sort of "sleep mode", which he tends to do at night since no one else can stay up with him. The claws on his feet can actually extend and act like sharp grabby toes when he needs extra support. Or when he needs to kick someone in the face.

And that's just about it. For anyone that's curious, this is his original design   It kind of makes me cringe. (he looks like Mettaton and Papyrus' love child had an emo phase...) I mean, he's not much better now, but at least he's a bit more anatomically correct? idk. Ironically, these two images were drawn exactly one year apart. I feel like there's at least a little improvement.
