Quick little watercolor painting I did after re-reading Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are," Quite a good read when you're fighting insomnia, heh.A/N: Cleaner version updated -yay-

Beautiful work! Watercolor is tough, it was one of my fav mediums a while back. Havent really messed with it much since. Great job, I'll check out the rest after work. +fav.

absolutely marvelous work. i am in love with watercolours because they just go everywhere and control isnt there. i haven't learned any techniques and i paint as i go.. but looking at this shows how far my journey will be... someday i will paint something to this calibur .. but for now.. i'll just look at the adorable composition, the stunning strokes and the beautiful moment you've captured.

oh my goodness that girl is such a little cutie! and her buddy the ogre too. fantastic landscape... i especially like the framing you did with the dark foreground. it really brings the whole thing together nicely.

Brilliant water colours something i am hopeless at I love the ogres facial expression and body language like "Oh but I can't do that its just, just ... mean" beautifully captured So much detail but yet smooth and unbusy

OH WOW, man that's awesome!!!! I cant really control the painting mediums that well, the one i like the most is acrylics...but thats simply amazing! The texture, the detail, the lighting, its beautiful!!! Congrats..and its a "quick watercolor"? how long did it take you to do....wow, thats awesome.

I really have to admire artwork like this. I've tried watercolor before, and was horrible at it.
The colors in this piece are absolutely outstanding, and really pop on the screen. The subject matter is original, and very fun to look at.
