So this is my first step by step tutorial. I hope it's okay and explains itself D: if not through the writing, than through the images itself. I think I failed.

But this is only a tutorial for bigger canines. You could use this for smaller type canines, but the legs will need to be shortened along with the body length.

This is mainly how I draw male dogs... when I draw cartoon female dogs, the legs are sometimes thinner and paws are more petit, along with a slimmer muzzle and slender body type - but the same guidelines follow.
Also if you plan on using this reference for foxes, remember foxes are thinner, smaller and sharper ears and muzzle.

This isn't an image for you to take directly and just recolor how you want. This is for reference use only. I'd like to see people draw their own instead of using a line art off this chart.

I know whoever does decide to use this isn't going to credit me for the tutorial, but it would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to link me to your pictures if you use this chart as a reference, that would be just awesome.

ALSO the neck is rather long to some I notice, so because you are only using this as reference, you may change the length in the neck to your prefered length. This is just how I draw my canines.
