Description
this was my first test of a program called Graphics Gale (thanks to )the line work was done in graphics gale, but the coloring was done in adobe photoshop 6.0
I really like the way the program works, made the linework easy enough, the coloring is what took me the longest, due to the color blending.
And this means I also have a decent reference for him! the only thing you can't see is the fluff on his back, similar to a snowy egret.
He's like.. a Snowy Egret, mixed with a archaeopteryx, and kinda like a phoenix. With sunset colors. ^-^ I luff heeem.
art is miiine. do NOT recolor/reuse this image.

only the pixelized blending was, because I did all the 'speckling' by hand
the line art wasn't so bad, because of graphics gale

Yes, the blending is what I was referring to, I suck at making sense.
Turned out fantastic. :}

Very beautiful and colorful. I like the pixaled look and the little dots of coloring. The little dots add much interest to the shades of colors and how they are applied---mixed together. The colors used are nice and remind me of warm sunsets.The purple, pink and yellow orange is a great combination that immediatly captures the eye. The anatomy on the bird is interesting~

thank you! Yeah despite how long it took, I find the pixelated blending to give a very nice effect (have to do that all by hand, no easy way to do it heh)
So glad the colors translate well! ^-^
The main anatomy is based off a Snowy Egret *nods*

Graphics Gale huh? Can't say I've heard of that program, but it looks like it does a nice job with the lines.

....owo;;; Wow!! This is absolutely beautiful! I adore the colors....and the anatomy on the bird is wonderful and quite accurate! It almost seems like...the combination of a crane/egret and some type of peacock....Very nicely done :3 I love the way that you colored the feathers, espically the tips of them gradually turning into the main "body" color. It'd definately a sunset bird ^^ Great job!

Ooo! XDD That's like...the best bird-mix ever! I adore Snowy egrets, Phoenixes and my favorite "Prehistoric" critter has to be the Archaeopteryx ;D Definately.
No problem ^^
