Description
As the title says, here are 8 of my original characters made in Princess Scene Maker. From left to right and top to down:
Literne - in light blue dress. Not exactly the cut I would like to see her wearing, but at least with transparent sleeves
Lina - her peach-and-cream ballgown, a curious mixture of styles
Aneris - I tried to make some Egyptian patterns, not quite successfully. What I really like are her pleated sleeves
Amrita - Indian-inspired, but very quick and simple
Violanta - I like how her entire outfit had turned out
Luciana - not quite good, but I "invented" a way to make lace!
Joan - I am just proud of her dress!
Anne - quite simple but for some reason I like it - I believe it is due to the colour combination...
Please enlarge for full view. And please let me know your opinion about them

Once again, I just love Violanta's design! Anne and Literne's are wonderful, too. My personal favourites. Great work.

The detailed shading in each of these gowns is absolutely exquisite and I love all the beading. I must say Lina looks the prettiest here. XP

This is incredible!
Literne and Lina- Both are wonderful, but I must agree that a different hairstyle would probably be more suiting for Literne...
Anneris and Amrita- I really like the design! Although, Anneris' dress resembles an Indian style more than an Egyptian, personally. From what I've seen, and learned, Egypt would avoid color in the dress- AKA, not blue!(Well, USUALLY... once in a great while you would come across it! But VERY rarely!) Due to the heat! Also, it was all about the flowy, cool, but form-fitting stuff! (Not really easy for you to understand, but I must say it...) Like a lot of my dresses... (In my closet... my REAL dresses...) Or, basically, the kind of stuff Cleopatra is always depicted wearing. That was the standard way to dress. In fact, just add some extravagant accessories, and Joan would look more Egyptian! Amrita is very well done, though...
Violanta and Luciana- The lace thing is epic, and Violanta is incredible, but I might be able to pinpoint one of the biggest issues... her sleeves. I believe you were trying to emulate those poofy sleeves with the () -ish shape? If so, your problem lies in angling. You tried to make both sides almost entirely visible, when, with the angling, that just isn't accurate. The () on her left arm would be almost completely out of view, if you could see it at all! And on her right arm, you would see most of it, but not QUITE as much as you put! Otherwise, she looks incredible!
Joan and Anne- When I first saw Joan, I immediately thought: "Is that a wedding dress? Is she getting married in this pic?" xD But yeah... very well done! And Anne... I have to agree with what you said! xD I think it might be because, some of the more elegant ball gowns are actually quite simply decorated! Actually, her dress closely resembles one I saw somewhere... I can't remember where, but I've seen the design before...

First of all, thank you very much for so detailed comment . I truly appreciate it
.
Now, by points:
Literne - I meant not the hairstyle but the cut of her dress (and her hairstyle is just fine since she has long wavy hair and likes to wear it loose).
But her dress should have different sleeves, long like in medieval outfits but flowing and semi-transparent. And her skirt should be more loose too, with lots of pleads.
Anneris - I see what you mean. Her dress isn't like typical white pleated garments what were worn in Ancient Egypt.
But the main thing is in that this character of mine is not quite like other Egyptians. She likes colourful patterned outfits.
As to the pleads, they were supposed to be there but I was lazy to spend another hour making them .
However I'm glad that you like how Amrita looks (despite her clothes are not quite accurate too).
Violanta - to tell the truth, by the time I started making her sleeves, I got tired and didn't pay proper attention to them.
I know they look unrealistic, but I just let them stay in that way. But I'm glad that you like her anyway .
Joan - it's funny that you said so.
I didn't intend that. But now I think if I add a bit more of violet colour, I really may make it her wedding dress...
Anne - I'm glad that you agree about her outfit .
Generally her dress has the most of features of early Victorian ballgowns - quite fluffy (and flowing) skirt, puffy sleeves, neckline lace, belt with small bow and long gloves.
And now I know it for sure that early Victorian era is one of my favourites in fashion ...

Literne- Oh...
Anneris- Pleads???
Violanta- Yeah... exhaustion is the bane of every person, but it's an even bigger pain for an artist in the middle of a piece!
Joan- LOL! Okay! xD
Anne- Huh... interesting... after I thought about it a bit, I might have seen it in the ballroom background on Snow Queen Scene Maker on AzaleasDolls.com...
