The 18th one is inspired by the main character of a fantasy book that I read, hence her exotic appearance. In the book, she has black skin with blueish tint.
As to the 19th one, probably it could remind you of this picture , the same face and similar hairstyle and colour of the outfit.

Both the model and the outfit on that picture were inspired by one of my most favourite OCs (sadly I have not posted any decent pictures of her yet, except for her aesthetics card picture ).

I wish I could make her skin darker, then she would be more like the book character that inspired her... But in Snow Scene, this is the darkest brown available.

Hehe, interestingly enough, I'm still the only participant that has a model entirely made by myself... I really thank you for letting me participate since that time with my own model! Even though I am really late with my latest entry... but at least now I have a sense of when I can make and submit my latest entry! I have a few other drawings to finish, then I can finally start working on that and the variation of that steampunk outfit based on the palette, too! I think I can upload the outfits this week.
But as for these new models... I really love the new appearances! And even the swimsuits you made look so effective! They really compliment each of the models' faces and hair.

As for the new models. For each of them I tried to find a singular combination of skin/eyes/hair/swimsuit colours.
This one was inspired by one of Andre Norton's most unique-looking characters. In the book she has black skin with slight violetish tint, and silvery white hair. The golden belt with green stones plays an important part in the plot. And I tried to make a lotus flower because Ancient Egyptian culture is mentioned in the story as well.
This one came out as attempt to put together still un-used options for hair and eye colour. Then I experimented on the hairstyle; it reminded of Grecian/Empire and considering the dark eyes, I naturally thought of Joan and make her swimsuit cold blue with Empire waist.
This one was inspired by the theme of warm yellow and honey, anda bit by bees (in the accessoires).
This one is obviously inspired by sea and beach. The model itself reminds me of Literne, that is why I went with sea theme.

That really is some nice inspiration! That character does indeed sound very unique... and one day, when I'll feel a bit more sympathetic towards books again, I'll pick up one of Andre Norton's novels for certain, as well.
I particularly like her swimsuit. The shape and the colour really fit her well!
I was rather thinking of a treasure trove when I looked upon her swimsuit, but now that you mention it, both her hair and swimsuit are reminiscent of honey and bees! That's a lovely theme.
Her hair and eye colour make for the classic Nordic/Slavic beauty, too. And since a lot of Nordic folklore goes around the sea... I find her swimsuit very fitting to her eye and hair colour!

She is definitely a unique character, an offspring of ancient race, hence her unusual appearance (she also has retractable claws on hands and legs, she is described using them for defence at one point in the first book). There are two books about her adventures, called Forerunner and Forerunner:The Second Venture. I like the cover pictures of them (which anyone can find in Internet) - the first one because of her adorably portrayed animal companion , and the second one (the united edition including both books) for its nicely pictured background interior .
Oh, indeed! I absolutely forgot about Nordic beauty! Unfortunately the most foisted ideas about blonde hair and blue eyes make me think either about Barbie or ''a typical American blonde''

That's very interesting! And the cover art of the books is really nice as well! If I were to judge the books by their covers, I'd say that there is a lot of adventure hidden in those books! And I love adventures... might just want to pick up the Forerunner series sometime.
Yeah, the "typical American blondie" or the Barbie images are rather stupefying towards females with blonde hair... but like you say, the Nordic beauty example is much more sympathetic and even flattering to a blonde woman.

Yes, there is always al lot of adventures in Andre Norton's books! If you ever decided to find some of them, I would recommend "Mark of the Cat" and its second part "Year of the Rat"(ones of my all-time favourites!, fantasy featuring a race of rational big cats), "Halfblood chronicles" (fantasy about a war between elves, humans and dragons that able to shapeshift into two other races; since you like dragons, you may like it too). Or anything of Witch World-related fantasy, e.g. "Year of the Unicorn" and two following books. It all depends on your personal tastes. For example I equally like her fantasy and space fiction like "Solar Queen'' series. Then there are her non-genre and historical novels, recently I read one about ancient China and it was quite interesting as well...
I hope you remember that once I have sent you some of her books through e-mail. So should you come to the reading mood, you can read those ones.

I wrote all of your suggestions up in my notes so that I can remember more easily! And I actually like both fantasy and science fiction, but I prefer fantasy more. I guess I'll start with the fantasy series! And yes, I still remember all of your emails and I've flagged them for replying... it's just that I really haven't had the chance nor the energy to reply to those emails yet... but hopefully, I can still muster that energy at some point!
