The theme for this round was actually Disney non-human/humanoid characters, including animals, toys, fairytale characters etc.I have got Marie from ''The Aristocats''. I watched the film recently, and had become convinced once more in my opinion about anything animal-related being one of Disney's strongest suits.
She is an adorable character, but I find it funny that I was assigned her, because her slightly selfish and capricious nature is somewhat opposite to the sweet and shy image I have created for my model Dawn.
So I just decided to put them both to a picture, each being herself. Dawn is in a lovely lacy dress that Marie could wear if she would have been a little girl of that time.

Just wow, WOW!!!! I love this. The editing to really bring such life and amazingness to this is outstanding outfit and design! I love her dress! And her hair! Gah, I don't think that I really could go into how much I love your skill with making these beautiful works and combining so many things together to get the fantastic masterpieces that you make.Β

As to my editing skills, you just overstimate them. I do not know how to draw, therefore I have to search and combine images in order to make pictures and scenes. On the other hand, I like arranging and designing, so like everything I enjoy, this turns out relatively not so bad...

I think your interpretation of Marie in a human form is really lovely! I love how the colour choice of Dawn's outfit correspond to Marie's colours. And I think you captured the figure of a little girl very nicely! I love the border and the background, as well. It's a very adorable rendition of one of the Aristocats' characters. I really loved that film, but I'm sure you already know why - it has animals in it!

Well, with her outfit, I tried my best to make it fit both Marie's colours and the time period the film is set in.
As to the background, I took a screenshot from the film, and added a frame to make it resemble an old photograph, at least by the spirit of ''the old merry times'' since there was no colourful photographs at that time yet.
What about the film itself, it is a very nice one! The more of Disney films I watch, the stronger is my belief that anything related to animals is what Disney is the best at. Somethimes I feel like the humanized animals in the Disney's films have even more of personality than the humans... Perhaps it is because the way of drawing, it seems to me that in the 2D animated films they were drawing animals better and their movements more smooth and natural than the ones of human characters. But it may as just as be only my personal opinion.
And, as long as it touched to Disney, the subject I speak about rather rarely, can you tell your favourite Disney films?

Regarding Marie's outfit... I love how you've done your research for that time period, as well! I suspected you did that as well... the outfit is nothing that modern people would wear, I guess. That doesn't mean the outfit isn't wonderful though! And I love what you've done with the background and the frame as well. It's a very clever way to make a fitting backdrop!
Disney really is good at portraying personified animals, in particular. It's also curious how there's at least one animal in every animated Disney film... it simply wouldn't be the same without the animals. Even in the newer, digitally drawn and animated films, the animals really bring flair into the storyline. It's quite lovely.
But my favourite Disney films... well, "The Aristocats" is certainly one of them. "Bambi" is an absolute favourite, and I'm sure you know why. Other favourite Disney films are the "Lion King" series, "Lilo & Stitch", "Finding Nemo", "The Incredibles", "Ratatouille", "Bolt", "Up", "Roadside Romeo" (kind of guilty of this one, but it's sort of good for an Indian animation), "WALL-E", "Brave", "Wreck-It Ralph", "Big Hero 6", "Inside Out", "Zootopia", and even though "Frozen" was kind of overrated in my opinion, it did have its good parts. I realise some of these movies are mostly made by other animation studios, but according to Wikipedia, they all still belong to the Walt Disney Pictures. I bet I'd also like "One Hundred and One Dalmatians", "Brother Bear", "Oliver & Company", "Pocahontas", "Mulan" and "Lady and the Tramp", but chance has it that I haven't even watched those movies yet... no worries, I'll fix that soon!

Your remark about Disney having animals in each of its film is true. I think it is a kind of tradition set by its founder, even the symbol of Disney is an animal, right?
As to the fims you listed, I have actually seen about a half of them. ''Bambi'', ''101 dalmatians'', ''Lion King'', ''Lady and the Trump'' and ''The Aristocats'' are nice.
Out of the films about humans, I liked ''Pocahontas'' for its natural spirit, ''The Little Mermaid'' for that it is water-related, ''Brave'' for its wonderful setting (and no less for its wonderful music) and ''Atlantis'' for its mix of mystery, magic and adventures.
Also ''Pixie Hollow'' series have adorable and cosy atmosphere.
''Who framed Roger Rabbit'', a comedy live action films including animated characters, it is just funny.
And ''Robin Hood'', animated film based on the legend, but using animals rather than people, is probably my favourite Disney film.

I agree about learning new things and about Disney's kind of tradition, as well! Mickey Mouse is really iconic... and probably also the reason why animals are so frequent in Disney Pictures's work.
Now that you mentioned it, I really need to watch "Pocahontas" and certainly "Atlantis"! I even managed to forget that I wanted to watch "Atlantis" too. And I definitely agree that the "Pixie Hollow" series are great, too! I managed to forget about that too, but I've seen some of the "Pixie Hollow" films and I loved them.
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is something I should watch by your suggestion (it looks curious), and "Robin Hood" too. I managed to forget about "Robin Hood" as well, haha.
