Just to make it clear, could you tell what exactly colours you dislike. From your description it sounds like brown, but I'd like to be sure.

The reason is in that I don't want to give people the themes containing the colours they would be not comfortable with. Because I want everyone to have fun with this challenge .

But isn't the point of the challenge to make designs that please YOUR eye?
Otherwise, you are placing all the stress on yourself.
You can't please everyone, anyways.
I think you should request things that you like, more than what the contestants want, otherwise it'll be too easy. Don't you think?

At any rate I'll choose the things I like first, and then will choose among them .
But I just felt myself obliged to ask people about their preferences/dislikes. It doesn't mean that I would follow them strictly, but it's good to know.

Besides, it seems that my colour preferences are quite different. For example, I like all (with rare exceptions) greens and browns, rusty/salmon/orange shades,  light/pastel and calm unsatured colours in general, while the most of those whom I asked, prefer rather bright satured colours and/or dislike yellow/orange. It was simply interesting to know.
