Just an error. That cape is too small. Grevious can cover himself with it, but that one is too narrow (I think that's the word).

Great Stuff! Are you making a game? I do some video game programming, graphics, music myself, started on a C64 when I was six. Anyway, that's pretty good for XSI. Excellent, actually. I could never get a hang of XSI, I found it altogether counter-intuitive. I think that was XSI 3 I tried, though.
Anyway, I was lucky enough to have a close friend who has a close friend at Discreet to hook me up with a legal copy of 3DS Max 7. I had been helping beta-test it since version 6.
I guess the only crit I would give is add a better texture to his cloak maybe, and add some battle damage or blaster scarring texture to his body.

Oh wow. I'm sure I'm like the 100th person to say this but, I though at first glance 'Wow, someone made an action figure from scratch of General Greivous? WOW' then I look at it, and see that its' completely cg. Then I almost fall out of my chair in SHOCK at how real this looks. AMAZING. You're definately the person who actually uses Photoshop what it's supposed to be used for that's for sure xD You did one hell of an amazing job, this is just beautiful. I adore the pose, the texture is AMAZING, it looks like you just made the texture by being really meticulous too. DAMN this looks REAL O_O are you sure you didn't work on the movie xD j/k but this is damn good. You deserve a Today's favorite for this by far ^^

Nice job. Did you rig him up with bones to animate? I've been working with a similar model and myself and the original model designer are having problems rigging him up with bones. Hella hard model to animate.

I'm interested to know why he has the same "scars" on both sholders and hands
hehe.... I'm not sure about the pose... seems to hide the body to much.. and the PS works seems to obscure the depth of your 3D work.. but it's very well done otherwise

Smashing skill... That texture work is just plain ass kicking. I just learned UVW Unwrapping in 3dsmax, but I've never heard of that XSI 4.2. Is it good for the texturing bit?

in the beginning of the movie, he uses those force pikes, but later on he busts out the sabres...

acctually, he uses 4 lightsaber at the start of the movie.
he was collecting sabers all from the end of episode 3.
about the force pikes, it was one of his dead magnaguards staffs that he grabbed and used.
