Description Upon deciding Anders' fate…

"You must choose, Lymeeari." Sebastian hissed, cocking his bow at Anders' head. "Either you kill him, or I return from Starkhaven with an army to crush him."

Lyme was silent for a long moment, before turning to Anders, and leaning to whisper into his ear.

"It's nothing against you." She assured him, drawing her dagger. "I just really, REALLY want to get into those metallic pants. You understand, yes?"

Before the mage could reply, the assassin had buried her knife deep in his chest. But she did not stop there, choosing instead to rake the harsh metal across his shoulders and across his throat, blood gushing everywhere. The dagger was deep enough to split his face from chin to forehead, and she soon whipped the blade to its side, sawing through Anders' skull and effectively scalping him. Blood spilled onto the ground, dying Lyme's hands a deep, cherry red as she dug her fingers into his skull, tearing out the red, lobed meat of his brain.

Oblivious to the horrified expressions on her companions' faces, she turned to Sebastian, offering him the organ with a shy smile, like a boy presenting his corsage to the girl he liked before prom.

Those piercing blue eyes swept from Lyme's smiling face, to the brain, to Lyme once more, before finally rolling back in his head, as he collapsed on the ground in a heap of silver metal.

The assassin was once again silent. But this silence was interrupted by a predatory grin, as she tossed aside the brain, and began unbuckling her armor, declaring, "Unconscious guys can't say no!"

Mercifully, Aveline stepped in, grabbing the little elf before she could take advantage of Sebastian's subdued state.

Upon realizing that the mages' chances of winning against the Templars are next to none

"We're all going to die." One of the apostates moaned, taking a seat on the stone floor, and burying her face in her hands.

"We probably will." Lyme agreed. "But I have an idea."

Turning to Merrill, she asked, "Can you summon a devil for me?"

"Oh, of course! But why do you--"

"Don't worry about it." Lyme fished an eyepatch out of her pocket, and handed it to the blood mage. "Here. This should get the right one here."

A quick slit of the elf's skin, and a flash of light struck the stone, an irritated drow soon standing in the room.

"Damn it, Lyme." Ili snapped, snatching her eyepatch back, and pocketing it. "I told you to stop stealing my things."

"I'm so glad you're here, Ili." The assassin slipped an arm over her older sister's shoulders, and began walking towards the door. "You see, I'm a bit of trouble right now, and I just knew that you would be perfect for—MAGE! MAGE! SHE'S A BLOOD MAGE! KILL HER!"

Ili could only let out a yelp of surprise as Lyme shoved her out of the keep and into the courtyard, as templars stormed forward.

Tendrils of violet light shot from her fingers, encircling the necks of the divine soldiers, and easily snapping their necks. Magic began to pool out from the drow's fingers, easily stopping the flow of soldiers into the keep.

"Lyme! I'm going to kill you after this!" She snarled, sending a blast of eldritch power at the nearby captain.

"You'll have to catch me first." The assassin murmured to herself with a chuckle, escaping via the nearest window, and heading towards the harbor, where she knew Isabela's ship was waiting.

Discussing Quay with Tash

"I don't get you, drow."

Lyme looked up as Tash shook her head, slamming a heavy fist into the table.

"You could take out that red wizard at any moment. You could be gone now, yet you decide to stay at three months. And I bet that's really pissing off your order." She glared at the drow. "And I hardly think that you're about to marry Quay, so what is it about him that's keeping you around?"

"DAT ASS!" Lyme burst out in reply, whipping out a pair of sunglasses, and biting down on her lower lip.

Tash began drinking early that day.

Talking with Losh about his home planet

Lyme fidgeted in her seat, chewing her lip in a nervous fashion as she shot her gaze towards the door, deathly afraid that someone was going to charge through it at any time.

"Look, I'm not really supposed to…uh…be here. She could catch me at any time." She informed the skittish elf, ignoring the fact that he had hidden himself behind the luxurious bed, and had armed himself with a lacey pillow. "But I heard that you've got some *awesome* product, so I had to come. Are you holding? I've got gold."

"Err…no." Losh bit down on his bottom lip. "Are…are you one of my clients?"

"For the brothel? Nope. I've already got an elf for that sort of thing." The assassin smiled. "No worries."

"Who..who are you?"

"Oh! I'm Lyme."

"Lyme?" A tear the color of forget-me-nots gathered in the corner of his eye. "There is a fruit on my home planet called 'limes'. They…they are sweet, but also sour."

"Really?" A devilish smile crossed Lyme's face. "I'm sweet and sour. You wanna take a bite out of me?"

Losh's eyes went very wide, before he broke into a shriek, "SKEEV! HELP!"

*diez and stayz ded*

I just woke up the neighbor's baby, I was laughing so damn hard!

Dat ass, indeed! And poor Tash will have to keep drinking her liver to death if she wants to stay sane with these two drow around...

And Losh armed with a pillow? Crying forget-me-nots tears? I really shouldn't be laughing at this poor creature, but he's such a damn good joke target...

You know what? I think you should totally write a Lyme/Skeev scene now.

Lyme will just shake her head eventually, and tell her to switch to weed, becuase that has less health effects.

I actually had one planned for right after, but I chose to leave it with Losh crying for help. Here it goes:

"Skeev! Skeev, she's a sexual predator!"

"Okay, that's totally true, but--" Lyme halted in her speech, seeing the big guard standing in the door.

The two of them smiled naughtilly, their green eyes scaling up and down each others' bodies, and mapping out key areas. His wicked smile, her carved lips, his bulging biceps, her slim waist, his hard-muscled stomach, her sweet ass...

"Elf." She called to Losh, not bothering to move her gaze from Skeev's crotch. "What's your name?"

"It...it's Los--"

"Actually, I don't care. I feel less attracted to you than I do your guard. So I'd like you to turn and stare at the wall while I seduce him. This will only take a few hours."

Slinking over to the guard, she placed her hands on her hips in a juttingly feminine pose, and offered him a sly smile. "You're not gonna report me, are you? Because if you try, I'm going to have to do something drastic to silence you."

And I assume you can figure out where it would go from there. Poor Losh...

Baahahahahah! OMG, I can totally imagine Losh piling some pillows on himself and covering his ears all the damn time. Skeev, though.. boy, would he be delighted! Losh would never hear the end of it later on in their room.

And you know, I had a wicked idea of having Quay in the story. As top-notch professional whore in Nareems brothel, a bit like a male version of Leema... I almost did it, but then I realized it would totally ruin the storyline.

I'm sure he would be delighted...right up until Lyme curled her fingers into his hair, drew him closer, her lips almost brushing his...until she starts shaking his head like a baby's rattle and screaming, "Where are the drugs, bitch?!"

Why would it ruin things? I think that sounds awesome!

Count on Lyme to ruin the mood every damn time! And, depending on how badly addicted he would be at the moment, Losh might try to fight her for any Black Sun Skeev might be hiding in his pocket. Not that he would have any chance... but who knows, using puppy eyes just might work.

And well, I need Losh to be the only exotic male elf in the brothel or else every client wishing for something special would just go to Quay - that dark bastard can play a submissive frightened sissy just as well as he can be a dom with a whip... Losh wouldn't stand a chance.

Oh, he might have a chance. Lyme kind of sucks in combat situations, as I'm sure you've noticed. And she does have all those ear piercings that he could yank out..ouch.

I can see Skeev just hanging back and watching the show...at least, until Lyme realizes that he's hiding it in his pocket and begins *cough* fishing around.

I am now struck with an image of Quay holding a whip, while Lyme stands in the background, doing the "Dat Ass!" pose.

Maybe Quay could be Losh's replacement...?

ZOMG, Lyme might suck in combat, but Losh is only a gatherer, he has never had to do any fighting in his life, he just climbs a tree, hides in the shadows or runs really fast when in danger. So I say he'll stick to begging puppy eyes when dealing with her.

And well, with Lyme's fingers fishing in his pockets, Skeev might not be able to hold himself for long... I can totally see him picking her up, throwing her on the bed and telling her to earn the drug.

Shit, I might end up giving Quay a cameo appearance somewhere there... just need to figure out first where it would fit - I'm getting towards the end of the story now, so NOW would not be a good idea, lol.

Which won't work. She'll probably pull a Morrigan and say something like, "Oh, you're just being manipulative! I can tell, I do it too."

And she would smile, slide her fingers along his chest, and back into his pockets, where she would manuever her digits most delicately, until...she finds the drugs, snatches them up, and runs like hell. But I doubt she'd mind too much if Skeev managed to catch her.

Hmm...there's always room for a sequel with him at some point.

Tasharene In reply to arrowmaker [2011-04-20 22:46:08 +0000 UTC]

Oh, COME ON! Losh's puppy eyes make even Skeev nervous and uncomfortable (especially recently). I'm sure Lyme wouldn't be completely immune to them.

He probably would catch her just fine if she didn't run too fast, and I think both of us know she wouldn't...

*le sigh* I promised myself no sequels to this story...

arrowmaker In reply to Tasharene [2011-04-20 22:53:37 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps. But she's also the youngest in her family. She has honed her own puppy eyes to great skills.

True, but she'd run him ragged afterwards.

Lyme: *tugs on his shoulder, nagging* Come on! Quay can go sixteen times a night! Why can't you?

We'll see about that...

Damn. True that. Poor Losh. *shakes head*

Yeah, horny bastard that he is, Skeev has no chance in comparison with Quay, I'm afraid...

And you're an evil woman, Arrow.

Lyme would probably roll over, put on her clothes, thank him for his time, and do the walk of fame out his door...that is, until she meets Leema.

Better yet, another story using this world of yours. It seems a bit wasteful to use it for only one story, after all.

Tasharene In reply to arrowmaker [2011-04-21 04:38:11 +0000 UTC]

Hmm. Lyme and Leema. If the two girls ever meet... I already feel sorry for Skeev.

You know, that might not be a bad idea, actually. The thought of writing a Skeev-only story did cross my mind at some point. I wouldn't mind giving Drather a little bit more of attention, either... And with good reasoning, Quay could become a slave for either of them, I suppose.

All right... but I gotta ask - would you be horribly disappointed if things between him and Marra didn't really work out too well?

arrowmaker In reply to Tasharene [2011-04-21 05:31:44 +0000 UTC]

Not in the least.

So...would he go for Leema instead? Because that would be ballin'.

Awesome! Leema and Skeev have some real emotional and physical chemistry. Seeing the two of them together would be awesome.

With a few cameo appearances by Losh, that are gonna disturb Skeev's thoughts A LOT. Boo-hoo.

ARRGH! I'm gonna kill you some day, you know? I have so many plot bunnies hopping around my room now that it's not even funny... and I still need to finish the main story FIRST. GRRRRRR.

*le sigh* FINE, you want it, you shall have it... just need to deal with Losh first. Can I kill him pretty please?

arrowmaker In reply to Tasharene [2011-04-21 18:32:04 +0000 UTC]

It's your story. But I say that you can do more angst with him alive. I don't know, it just seems cliched for him to die.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tasharene In reply to arrowmaker [2011-04-21 18:33:47 +0000 UTC]

Hmm. You're probably right. It WOULD be cliche... oh well. I'm just frustrated at him and Skeev at the moment, the two totally ruined the glorious ending I had planned... hence my death wish on the elf, I suppose.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arrowmaker In reply to Tasharene [2011-04-21 18:37:01 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps...but at least it's not predictable. I have no idea how its going to end. And given my readings of your other stories, I was set on Losh dying in Xadra's arms, and then she and Tok running off into the desert together. But now...I have no idea what's going to happen.
