Original title, huh?
Well, here she is. My very first finished human painting, and my second finished painting ever. I've done a little doodling here and there, but nothing major. Definitely room for improvement.
Look! Mother Nature and not one butterfly or flower. Imagine that!

All done in Adobe CS2 with a Wacom Intuos3 tablet.

This is good. The fog, the flowers, the woman's face - this is amazing! I even did a full-view and analyzed the eyes very closely. Excellent work with the reflective light source! This is wonderful.

You didn't do any hair atop her head but I think she looks so beautiful the way she is. The little spider web and dew droplets are very nice, and the delicate little leaves, too. <3

LMAO, that's EXACTLY what I thought after I painted it. And I know it's not very professional or good as an overly critical artist, but I spent long enough on the damn plants that I refused to take it out after it was done, no matter if it looked beard-like or not.

Well, when you're close up it doesn't look like a beard at all--and the detail is gorgeous, as are the eyes. Did you paint the details first or a rough sketch first? I don't know how you're supposed to go about it at all, so I don't know what the answer to that question will mean, but...um...yeah, curious?

I more or less made it up as I went along. No rough sketching except the generally shaping the face. The chin area was bare and I thought, "Hmm.. Wheat field!" Except the wheat field somehow turned into golden cattails, which then inspired the (badly drawn) lilypads at the bottom.
