Description EDIT: BIOS ADDED! Feel free to read it.

haha get it because    never mind that's a personal joke

But anyway I had delayed drawing these three, originally I wanted to add Goku here but since he already has a full body ref I decided I won't add him in here. As usual, bios will be long, and will be added soon when I'm not up late and had some rest!

Anyway, Broly, Turles and Vegeta are almost like a Three Caballero team in the AU -- they're cousins by connection of their mothers (their moms are sisters), and Turles is double related to Goku through his dad (his dad and Bardock are twins). They practically grow up together even though Turles pretty much lives all the way up North; he often visits them in the summer.

Because the three of them are inseparable, the people of Tytania surmized that they would be a quartet of sorts like their mums; a shame considering Bardock's last son would have completed the quartet if he didn't go missing during the Red Ribbon invasion. Otherwise, the three of them work out just fine as they are. Vegeta is naturally the leader of this trio, with Turles being its extra brains and Broly being the brawn.

Once Goku entered the picture though, the quartet is complete. At some point they'd be known as the Love is Blue Quartet: Turles being the Sable Nocturne, Broly the Verdant Minuet, Goku the Crimson Toccata, and Vegeta the Argentine Prelude. As how their moms the Scarborough Sisters are based off of the song Scarborough Fair, the dynamics for these four are based off the song Love is Blue, and a little off the guns from Bayonetta 2. This is pretty much the same thought process I went through when I built the lore surrounding their moms.

Anyway, as always, bios are LONG. Trigger warning for dysphoria for Turles' bio as it details his transitioning also, but the TL;DR of it:

- Broly is a tech genius. Also very nice
- Vegeta is descended from the Luminary
- Turles is basically motherfuckin Elsa
- All three of them are pals
- please don't ask me why Vegeta's uncle is named after a font and not a vegetable pun, I'm running out of vegetable puns

___

BROLY
Age: 18
Race: Saiyan
Residence: Heliodor, Central Kingdom of Tytania

BACKGROUND:
The eldest son of Dr. Paragus, the Tytanian Minister of Science and Technology and head of House Brassica. Broly was born with an exceptionally high overall power that rivals even that of Vegeta. At first, that power is seen as a threat -- even the wise King Vegeta the XVth had his doubts, and debated on whether Broly should be sent away to Meridia for safekeeping. But as his parents fought hard for him to remain in the Kingdom and convinced the King and Queen that their child was no threat, the King relented; after all, how could he deny his trusted friend, and sister in law?

In return, Paragus spent many a sleepless night to find ways to regulate this power. As Broly grows, that power seems to increase more and more -- and with it the risk of him running amok grows. Despite that however, Broly seems to be just fine on his own - perhaps because his mother Chive attends to him almost all the time while Paragus is away at work, and what little time he has left at home, Paragus spends it with his son.

That urgency to find a way to regulate that power grows even more when Kale was born -- like her brother, she too was born with an incredible level of power that rivals her brother. So much in fact that Chive died giving birth to her, and for a while, the family mourned, and at this point Paragus was starting to debate on the merits of exiling himself and his family to the Wyntrelands so his children wouldn't hurt anyone. But looking at Broly and the newly born Kale, he made a resolve: one last attempt, and if that failed too, then he will simply take his family and vanish without a trace.

That final attempt proved to be the charm he needed -- at last he came up with a device that would help regulate the flow of power that circulates within his children; this way, there won't be any excess of power that would cause them to lose all cognitive function. To help that further, Paragus decided that Broly and Kale would be trained and tutored to learn to control their powers, and to him the best teachers for those are the ones currently tutoring the Princes, and Paragus wasted no time in appealing to the King to allow Broly and Kale to undergo the same training as the Princes, which the King readily agrees to.

Because of this, Broly and Vegeta practically grew up together. They became fast friends, often spending time playing when they're not training or at school. During the times where Broly isn't with Vegeta, he'd watch his dad work on projects and research for the Science and Technology Ministry, and often Paragus would show him how things work and sometimes even give him projects to work on. This instilled a deep love for technology and invention in Broly, and he spent a lot of time tinkering with various machinery and tech as he does training and hanging out with his friends.

At 15, Paragus decided Broly was old and skilled enough to manage the device on his own. He showed his son the blueprints for the device and explained to him how it works, and finally gave him full responsibility for the device. "It's yours now," he said, "so make sure it's always in top condition". To his surprise, not only did Broly maintain it well, he even went and improved on the original, making the device better than he could ever imagine -- leading him to believe that Broly may just be gifted kinesthetically. From then on, Broly spent more time in the Ministry's workshops and laboratories on top of his training, as Paragus hopes that Broly might one day be a brilliant inventor in his own right.

Besides Vegeta, Turles and Bulma, his other friends are Cheelai and Lemo, both assistants and mechanics in the Ministry working directly under Paragus.

PERSONALITY:
Broly is a very polite and soft-spoken Saiyan; so polite and soft-spoken in fact that people have trouble believing that he's a Saiyan at all. He's only very outgoing around his friends and loved ones, but for the most part he's a pretty quiet person, only talking when he's addressed. But within him the Saiyan drive and love for battle that every nation in the world recognizes burns very brightly in him, and it becomes apparent during combat -- Broly enjoys the thrill and adrenaline of a good fight just as much as everyone else.

Broly is also quite humble, and rarely shows off unlike Turles and Vegeta (to some extent) -- he's the calmer and more modest one of the three, often acting as the "mom friend" when Bulma isn't around them. He cares about his friends and family immensely and often makes sure they're okay and that their needs are met. Perhaps due to the need to control his powers, he has become very calm and collected as a result.

He's also a very determined person, and wouldn't give up for anything as long as he feels that there is a viable solution. His passion for technology and invention is as strong as his passion for battle, and like his father he would end up spending sleepless nights working and tinkering at his workbench until he comes up with something. He can get so absorbed in his work that he would forget about the world around him -- sometimes to the annoyance of some of his friends as he would often miss calls or not hear them address him. This tendency to being too occupied with his current situation is also a vulnerability in battle, as it leaves him open to attack.

VEGETA (VEGETA THE XVITH)
Age: 18
Race: Saiyan
Residence: Heliodor, Central Kingdom of Tytania

BACKGROUND:
Vegeta is the 16th in line for the Tytanian throne, with the added prestige of being descended from the second Luminary of Legend -- so he has quite a lot to live up to. Vegeta was born with incredible inner power and high magical reserve that was the astonishment of both his parents and the Court; some even believed he may be the next Luminary, although King Vegeta the XVth quickly dismissed it, saying that it was impossible given the events surrounding the second Luminary. Nevertheless, Vegeta has so much potential within him, and Queen Niku wasted no time in arranging for only the best tutors around the world to train and educate her beloved son.

Vegeta's childhood was practically the standard of any royalty: specialized training from the world's best experts in magic and alchemy, schooled at an academy that houses only the most elite in the kingdom and beyond, and sometimes personal lessons from his own father. Despite that, Vegeta was allowed to live his life as any other child -- he spends his time with his friends as much as he's given (which is a lot), played games and explored things like any other child. His particular favorite thing to do growing up was to read stories about superheroes and legendary warriors; he enjoyed reading about their adventures and how they saved the world despite the insurmountable odds stacked against them. Sometimes his father would play into that interest by telling him stories about his younger days, and the little prince would listen with stars in his eyes trying to imagine what it must be like for the King back then.

His childhood dampened a little with Queen Niku's death when he was 11 -- he loved his mother dearly, and was inconsolable when she died. It took weeks before he pulled himself together and lived on in the wake of her passing, and that was mostly thanks to his father not giving up on telling the stories of heroes that he loved so much, providing a valuable lesson: the heroes are only as strong as they are because they had the courage and strength to overcome every obstacles presented to them. With that in mind, Vegeta emerged more mature and with renewed resolve.

Vegeta was betrothed to Bulma when they were both 12 years of age -- to the King, marrying his son to the heiress of Capsule Corporation means they would have a powerful strategic ally at their behest -- and Dr Brief's contributions to their kingdom were greatly beneficial to the betterment of the kingdom's technological advancements. During the summer, Bulma spends time with the Prince, Broly and Turles, and their friendship steadily grew into a deep love for each other. (But that's a story for Bulma's biography)

PERSONALITY:
Vegeta has a very prestigious lineage, and he takes great pride in it -- the way he carries himself with dignity and great poise is indicator that he's very meticulous about how he presents himself as a prince and of the Luminary bloodline. However he doesn't let this get to his head -- a good King is one that is willing to humble himself to the common folk in order to better understand their needs and meet them, after all, and Vegeta takes that to heart by befriending even the lowest class of youngsters like him and regard them as equals.

Sometimes of course, that pride gets the better of him. Vegeta tends to boast a lot during combat -- he knows he's powerful and he won't hesitate to prove it even if his enemies are stronger than him. Sometimes that leads him to trouble, but even then he shows that he's not someone to be taken for granted. In battle, he takes a more tactical approach -- analyzing the enemy's moves and tactics before making striking forcefully and precisely, catching them off guard. This makes him a formidable fighter in his own right.

Vegeta is also very short-tempered and often would get irritated or angry easily at even the slightest offense, although he's learning to curb that in his journey to become an even greater king than his father. On the flip side, he's quite the bleeding heart -- he can get super emotional about things, especially if it relates to the loss of a loved one. He has lost someone most dear to him after all, and he just hates seeing others suffer from grief over a loss like that.

TURLES
Age: 18
Race: Saiyan
Residence: Arris, Wyntre Tytania

BACKGROUND:
Turles was assigned female at birth. His parents doted on him completely -- because Sharotto wasn't supposed to be able to conceive without it endangering her life and his father Kabeji was considered infertile, when Turles was born, they both regarded his birth as a miracle, and lavished so much attention on him as a result. Of course, being a Saiyan, they had to ensure that he would grow up as a warrior in his own right, and they wasted no time in prepping him for training as soon as he was able to.

During the first 8 years of Turles' life, he knew of nothing but love and light from his parents. Kabeji and Sharotto ensured that their child would become a beautiful, graceful warrior 'princess' with the power to harness ice magic unlike anything seen in the Wyntre Court, and they still made sure Turles would have everything he could ever want, sometimes nearly spoiling him in the process. But that happiness wasn't to last long -- one day, both Sharotto and Kabeji left their home in a hurry, heading towards the harsh wilderness of the Wyntrelands, never to return again. All Turles remembered was that his mother was cold to the touch and her usual black hair was, for a moment, a flash of snowy white. He waited patiently for them for days, until Lord Baskerville (the current ruler of Wyntre Tytania) personally visited only to find the poor child sleeping on the couch, all by himself and unaware of the horrible fate that had befallen his parents. From then on, Lord Baskerville took Turles in as his own child.

As Turles grew up, he felt increasingly uneasy at being referred to as a girl, presenting as masculine as possible whenever he can. Going through puberty was a rough ride for him as he struggled to reconcile his body with his identity. Eventually it all clicked: he's a man. He just wasn't comfortable with being labelled as a woman because in every sense of the word, he had never identified as a woman in the first place. Realizing this, he decided to come out to his new family -- and was pleasantly surprised to find that they welcomed him almost immediately, and they helped him kick start his transitioning process. Because Saiyans are generally accepting of people like him, Turles' being a man was accepted by virtually everyone he's close with, and he found his transitioning journey easy to go through as he had the support of people who loved him.

It's also around this time that Lord Baskerville realized that Turles has exceptional talent in ice magic. Wyntre Saiyans are generally adept at ice magic as it comes with the territory, but Turles' abilities are a class above the rest; it feels as though he was born with it, as if the element of ice itself flows within his blood. While he wasn't entirely surprised, it also was a cause of concern to him -- mostly because of a curse known as the Winter Pact, a curse that can and has claimed many lives by slowly freezing them to death. While not many symptoms are known as of yet, the usual indicator was that Saiyans that eventually succumb to it usually are very adept at ice magic themselves... but the good ruler hoped that his fears are unfounded and hoped that it's just Turles being a natural at it.

Despite being a man, Turles takes his mother's wishes of making him a beautiful, graceful fighter to heart, and hones it to the very minute detail in his sword mastery, earning him the title of The Frosted Rose of the Wyntrelands as a result of his graceful, yet precise and deadly style of combat.

Turles considers Broly and Vegeta his best friends, often hanging out with them during the summer and training together with them.

PERSONALITY:
Every bit of Turles oozes grace and elegance; being a high-standing member of the Wyntre Court and practically the son of its King, Turles carries himself with great dignity and poise (some even remark that his gracefulness could easily rival that of Zarbon of House Maxima if he wanted to). He knows he's very high on the social ladder, and he carries himself exceptionally with that knowledge -- sometimes making him rather unapproachable for those of lower rank than him. In truth he's just a sheltered young man that doesn't really know a single hardship in his life. Because of this he can be rather insensitive towards others, especially those who are of a lower class than him.

That isn't to say that Turles is as cold and unfeeling as the eternal winter of his homeland, of course. Turles can be empathetic and caring, and he often tries his best to understand the people he meets and listens to them. He's quite a good listener, and often is very attentive towards other people when needed. He's also someone who doesn't beat about the bush -- he's very direct and to the point, and doesn't hesitate to speak his mind where needed. That directness lends into his combat style beautifully. Between Turles and Vegeta, Turles is the more tactical of the two -- his fighting style emphasizes on precise strikes on the enemy's weak points, immobilizing them or leaving them open to attack. To him, it's important to hit the enemy where it hurts the most, and leave them vulnerable to subsequent attacks.

Turles has impeccable high taste and only expects the best of anything -- the best food, the best fashion, the best technology, you name it, he would definitely demand that. Sometimes it gives his friends a headache as if they can't get the best, he definitely would get into a really moody state, and any kind of consolation would be ineffective until either whatever he wants is obtained or until he sees how much of a spoiled brat he's being and snaps out of it. Which thankfully doesn't happen a lot, as Turles knows that in order to have the best things in life, he has to work for it.

Yay, More Canon Broly love, Nice

It would be strange if Broly, despite his quiet Social Awkward state actually knows more about tech then his friends.

Cheelai: (looks at the earth plant) .... We’re gonna need to take good care of this, and I’m not sure if this planet’s gonna like it.

Broly: Oh! That’s not a problem, I have made a machine for that. (he pulls open a part of a cave and they see that it’s a huge laboratory.)

Lemo: Wha- But- When did- What?!

Broly: I found what I think you would call a “ship graveyard” and salvaged all I could from them, although I couldn’t find enough parts to create a working comm tower or a distress beacon.
