I love your artwork, particularly what you have designed for this World. Why don't you create a gallery folder for all images of that World?

That's a good idea, thanks for the suggestion.

Great work Artur, Is the vegetation Onyx Tree? It does not look like Vue native plants and it looks very convincing.

Thanks!
I suppose you're talking about other images, because this one doesn't have any vegetation. No, it's not onyx tree, it's a mix of xfrog and evermotion. I only use Vue native trees for ecosystem population in the background, they're not convincing enough for foreground.

is Sunny Above a sequel to Wake Up, or are they not connected?

They're not connected. I just wanted to explore another direction of the same aesthetics.

got it, I think I just saw a connection with the doorway looking a little like the two exit areas in Wake Up but the girl is obviously a different character

Beware GodofManga is either a troll or a imposter. He commented on several artworks with the exact same post.

What software do you use to create such beautiful pieces? From what I know Vue is just a renderer?
Your ideas are fantastic and I love the smooth sleek feel of your environments. It's nice seeing something so sci-fi and modern in a world that's not filled with smoke and darkness. Unusal, but stunningly so.

ArthurBlue In reply to Fieta [2013-01-28 11:02:05 +0000 UTC]
Thank you!
In general, Vue is much more than a renderer. Vue allows the creation of natural 3D environments, simulating mountains, forests, fields, oceans atmospheres and entire worlds. Here's some more info: [link] The menus on the left
However, it's true that in this image in particular Vue was used mainly as a renderer. The character was prepared in Poser, the cloth around her in MarvelousDesigner2, the structures and statues prepared in zbrush. Then I brought everything into Vue. Only the sky, rocks and lighting are native Vue here.
I share your thoughts about "smoke and darkness". I see too many images of the future with this. I like to think of the future as something bright and beautiful. At least, we can hope...

I love those red "veins". Is it something you modeled or is it through materials?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ArthurBlue In reply to vincebagna [2013-01-28 10:02:20 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! The veins are modeled in zbrush (they are "grouploops" - if you know zbrush you'll know what this means ).

Hey, would you ever create some art, like rooms and environment inspired by the deisgner for all stuff from the "Alien"-movies? H.R. Giger is his name... his artwork is so mysterious, dark and creepy I can only look at it for short moments each time

ArthurBlue In reply to applesummerlikegreen [2013-01-28 20:09:45 +0000 UTC]
I know the work of Giger. I like it, aesthetically, but I find it too dark and creepy, as you say, and that's not my style. I prefer things bright and beautiful.

Hahaha I see. I totally understand. He's an amazing artist, and his art is very powerful. But it's not really a good feeling you get, so the greatness of his art makes it instead hard to look at!
usually its the opposite. Glad you read my comment anyway! Stay creative!

Thanks! Interestingly, this same comment was made by 3 or 4 different people, to 3 or 4 different images of mine. It seems I have some kind of link to that myth. I have to explore this...
