Description Normally, I have a clear vision in my head when I start working on an image. This time I had it too but... it was not this one. This turned out fairly different from my original vision. Anyway, I just let it grow. I might still try to do the original but I'm not sure.

As always, this was rendered in Vue with almost no post-work.

Thank you. Yes, the sun is an important part of almost all my work. As you also noticed before, that's probably because I live in a country that usually has lots of sunshine hours. If you visit Portugal one day, I invite you to go to the province called "Alentejo". In the deep Alentejo, I think you'd probably have the same feeling as in many of my images. Maybe you can take a look at this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGtKf5…

So, that's where's your imagination anf creativity begins? Well these hills and clouds definitely rimends me some of your works.

No, this is obviously unfair, Arthur. I should be there where's a lots of the sun. I feel i require it for the living. You imagined this and created, you realized this world isn't real, but you created it, and it becomes real. Filled with a magical attraction for those like me. It's that kind of art which is makes you feel like you never feel this before. It seems like it reminds you something familiar. You can't say exactly what is this. But the other thing youreallyΒ  can say β€” it was existed someday.

In your mind or or in reality. Something forced you to imagine you in this place.

I think you would like to live in Portugal. We are the country in Europe with the most hours of sunshine. See this map: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fil…
See Portugal in the bottom left corner? Almost all orange.

Regarding creation of new places, even for me sometimes it's a strange process, how a non-existing place suddenly pops up in my mind and then almost becomes real...
Thank you for your comment.

Thanks! I had great fun making those. It was hard to decide when to stop, I just wanted to add this detail and that and more of that, until I finally had to decide "that's it".

Her favorite moment of the day, when the morning was still young, and her planet's sun had not risen so high in the sky that it's reflected rays off the synthetic ivory of her abode would be blindingly bright.Β

It sort of makes it seem as if the world is in the hands of a maniac. But this whole thing is amazing.

very good piece, so realistic, i like how you placed a person to give it a sense of scale, that really brings it all together for me.

Wow, I really like the plastic shapes in this one. Is there an hidden meaning or anything, especially behind the plastic shapes which looks like buildings kinda. Though not that it matter, it's simply amazing... I feel as if I can almost touch the white shapes, and the grass and feel and sun shine. Good work, I watch all your stuff!

Thanks!
There's no hidden meaning. This space grew kind of organically. One block here, another one there, change this, move that... There was no planning, it just happened.

I was going to write that I wish there had been a cat or little girl sitting on one of those little ledges either side of the doorway on the left, but after reading everyone's comments I see the cat now

Another great image Artur, you continue to inspire and amaze!

One question: How are you constructing these lovely buildings? Are they high poly cubes that are meta blobbed somehow? They're very tight.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ArthurBlue In reply to papamook [2013-01-18 23:31:22 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!
This building, and similar ones in other images, are initially made in Vue, using primitives (a kind of a mock-up), in order to have everything as I want; then I export everything into zbrush, where I merge everything together and do those lines; then I import the result back into Vue, into the exact same place of the primitives.
