Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Let me give my you my comments:

1) "The texture of rock is not adapted ... replace grey by brow ... is wood ? "
It's not rock. It's not wood. This is an alien world, it's a material that doesn't exist in our world.

2) "The water reflexion is so regular around island ... no move in water with 3 moon?"
You must be talking about tides. Does our moon cause tides in a lake on Earth? A tide is only caused on massive amounts of water, like our very deep and vast oceans. This ocean is not deep, is shallow, so the tides are very, very soft.
Regular reflections - on Earth a lake has a regular reflection. Why? When there's no wind. So, that's the explanation.

3) "The three is so .... horyzontal so linear / no angles "
This is a really strange comment... It's like commenting that a person standing is so linear...
Yes, I like it, that is my aesthetics decision. This has a symbolism but I will not explain it to you. Either you see it or you don't.

4) "and ... the small three have identic diameter with the adult?"
I don't understand what you mean.

5) "Island is reapΓ©tive to segond plan SMALL/BIG/SMALL SMALL/BIG/SMALL SMALL/BIG/SMALL SMALL/BIG/SMALL SMALL/BIG/SMALL SMALL/BIG/SMALL"
I don't know if you're talking about aesthetics or realism. If it's aesthetics, I like it, that is my aesthetics decision. If it's realism, this is an alien planet, so realism is different.

Small passage on Google Translate
The texture of the stone is so smooth as it could easily be confused with wood or .... well it's too perfect. Especially for a head that is theoretically fell from above.

Makes me think of a very mysterious fantasy setting, with most of its history either lost to the sands of time or shrouded in myth. It also makes me think of making many, many bridges.

Nice work.

So there should be 81 Islands and 243 Trees^^

Great Picture (as always). Btw are the planets imagers or part of the render?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ArthurBlue In reply to TheRobertSchneider [2015-03-24 22:31:39 +0000 UTC]

haha! Yes, that would work too.

The planets are part of the render. Everything is part of the render in my images. My post-work is usually just some minor contrast adjustments, some de-saturation, some subtle glow here and there. I usually do all my post in 5 or 10 minutes.
