Okay, maybe these sequels did have some flunks here and there, when you think about it, some of these sequels are quite good, like The King of Thieves, Simba's Pride, Return to the Sea.... just to name a few.
All these movies belong to Disney.

I did enjoy The Lion King 2. Mainly for Zira's hypocrisy and the Upendi song.
Return of Jafar was alright, but that scene where Jafar comes out of his lamp laughing in an evil manner after Abis rubs it had me wondering why villains laugh in that manner.
You proved my point that not all Disney sequels are bad.

Yeah, but it's a great follow up. On a deeper level, you can actually see Simba having to suffer PTSD from the stampede as seen in his nightmare. Scar may be dead, but he's not gone from Simba's mind.
NO clue. On the other hand, it did lead to be a pilot to a great TV show(Just like what they did with Tangled)
Thanks. Though Lady and the Tramp 2's opening ALWAYS reminds me of "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast

I remember that nightmare, when the secondary character from the first film was about to die, only for The Lion King to kill the mane character as well.

King of Thieves, Cinderella 3, Finding Dory, the Toy Story series, Rescuers Down Under, Lion King 2 and 1 1/2, an Extremely Goofy Movie, those are the movies that come off the top of my head.

When I said hypocritical, Zira was livid with Kovu because "YOU KILLED YOUR OWN BROTHER! YOU BETRAYED SCAR!". My point is, how could Kovu betray Scar by killing his own brother when Scar did the same thing to the secondary character of the first film?
