I have a lot to talk about here about why I say the Pokémon fandom is dreadful.

Genwunners
This is the general complaint in the fandom. Some Pokémon fans only prefer the original 151 or 251 Pokémon, and only liked the anime when Misty, Brock, and/or Tracey were Ash's travelling companions.

Shipping wars
This is one I really start talking; Every time Ash gets a new female travelling companion, fans either complain that they hate that travelling companion, or certain diehard fans start shipping that pairing like it's the best thing in the world, and bash other ships, Ash ship or no Ash ship, mostly Amourshippers or Pokéshippers involved (the former for the most part), always saying stuff like "Serena's the first girl to kiss Ash" (even though Melody was the first one, and also before Serena, Bianca (or was it Latias? If it was Latias, it wouldn't count) and his Bayleef (when she was a Chikorita, but then again, doesn't count because that was a Pokémon, not a human)), "Serena's the one for Ash", "Ash and Serena are childhood friends", "Misty was Ash's first travelling companion". I'm not including "An unused character was confirmed to originally be Ash and Misty's daughter" in these arguments because I can see where Pokéshippers go with that one.

And to add to this, when it comes to shipping in general no matter what fandom it is;

There are the normal shippers. Those shippers understand that not everyone ships their OTP, and don't attack those who don't support it.

But there are the shipper brats. Those shippers take criticism or negative opinions of those ships as an insult, attack those who don't support their OTP, and only respect opinions they agree with.

Complaining about certain designs whenever new Pokémon are released
Some people complain about certain Pokémon not having original designs or having dimwitted designs (e.g. Dusclops, Bibarel, Probopass, Relicanth, Lunatone, Honedge, Escavalier, Accelgor, Crabominable) when the original 2 generations have unoriginal designs too (Koffing, Gastly, Seel, Magnemite, Mantine, etc.), though those were only the start of the franchise.

The new voices are awful!
I will admit, some of the voices don't sound right, but that's not such a big deal. The reason the voices changed are because they changed from 4Kids to TPCI. The very reason the credits were changed to a black screen rolling the credits and why the intro to each episode has been 30 seconds long.

Ash always losing in the Pokémon League
Well, this one is up to debate. Some learn each time that you can't win everything. Some were excited for the Kalos League, hoping Ash would finally win a league, but ended up 2nd place against Alain. Others argue that Cameron and Tobias cheated. The former cheating because he only brought 5 Pokémon to the league, while the latter brought a Darkrai and a Latios. And there was his battle with Ritchie which was rigged. Happy, Ritchie's Butterfree, put Ash's Squirtle to sleep, counting as a defeat. Finally, Ash's Charizard, automatically not wanting to battle Sparky, Ritchie's Pikachu, resulting in Ash losing.

REUSED ANIMATIONS! LAZI GAYM FREEK!!!
Lots of other franchises for other games have used the same animations. What about Mario Party 4 through to 8? What about Mario Party 10 onward?

DARE'S 2 MENNY POKEY MON!!!!
This argument is debatable. I can see where some people go with this. Because of how many Pokémon there are now, it is very hard to remember them all off by heart.

And the uploader countered my argument and explained "There's too many Digimon as well as Yu-Gi-Oh cards".
"Too many Pokémon"? Well, since there are almost 900 Pokémon now, I can see why some people say this, but here's the thing. There are over 1400 Digimon and I don't hear anyone complaining "DAREZ 2 MENNY DIJEEMON!". There are over 3600 Yu-Gi-Oh! monster cards, and where are the complaints that "DARE R 2 MENNY U GEE O MONSTUR KARDZ!"? So think of how many Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters there are before complaining there's too many Pokémon.

And the one that takes the cake, and the most recent complaints:
DARE IS NO NASHUNAL POKEY DEX IN SAWD AND SHEELD! WAH WAH WAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!
Yep. Fans are complaining that there is no National Pokédex in the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield! All complaining that their favourite Pokémon are going to fall into obscurity. Look, I may be disappointed about this too, but I'm not going to waste my time sending hate mail and death threats to Game Freak to get the National Pokédex into the latest games! And also, just because not all Pokémon are going to be in the game doesn't mean they'll be gone forever! At least some of your favourite Pokémon will be in the game, right?

And it doesn't stop here. Fans are saying they don't want to get the game, like they want the franchise to fall into obscurity! That's not gonna happen anytime soon, especially considering Pokémon is currently the world's biggest selling video game franchise. Yep, even more so than Mario, Zelda, and Sonic.

So there you have it. Reasons I say the Pokémon fandom is terrible. But then again, the hatedom is just as bad.... perhaps even worse.
