17 hours straight or 17 hours over days?
Ships look good.
I have to go back to remedial ship design. That sucks. They pick you up in an orange space ship with bars on the windows.

That would be -- 17 hours 'total' -- over a few weeks actually. It makes for a good story though... people misconstrue what they will, making their perception of me better! *laughs*

I had a picture that took 5 days to render. Five full days, it took more time to render then to setup the scene. Was just messing around with tree branches and suddenly I had a picture. Wish one of those dual processor G5s would "fall off a truck" near me.

wow, they look really nice, and 17 hours!?! I wish I had that attention span, someone told me I have the attentionspan of a poptart.

The attention span of a poptart? That's kinda harsh...
Yupper, 17 frickin' hours o' fun! Plotting the camera paths and angles is what took the longest. I have a video (DivX encoded) if you want it. I even have one with music!
