Description
Group shot! Now that I’ve finished 621’s main forces (with the exception of Butter, Phoon, and Leroy who all join later) I thought I’d do a picture with all of them together...and I tried out a background at the same time. Kudos to emoluna for helping me adjust Prism’s design; I made her hair a little more simple here.
INFO DUMMMP from left to right!
Clyde:
Bonnie’s partner in crime, designed to steal things. His adaptable arm has a few scarier upgrades thanks to 621’s meddling, but Clyde really never wanted to be a part of this attack on the Ohana. He might be dim witted, but between all the EARWAX meetings over the years and the Ohana’s general kindness, he actually liked being turned good, even if he didn’t know that was what was happening.
Comet:
Designed to create craters; a living meteor strike. Comet learned how to be good the same day she faced her fear of heights all those years ago during Lilo’s childhood. But after an unfortunate incident manipulated by 621 where Comet lost control of her ability and destroyed the old Kokaua Town Lighthouse, she was surprised to find the Ohana unhappy with her and ran off. 621 stirred up her worry and confusion by implying that the Ohana would never trust her again, and informing her that he believed she could control her powers, and do a lot more than just make small pools and bowls for humans to play in. This was more appealing to Comet than having to face Sparky, so she joined his team. But the longer she spends with 621, the more frightened she grows of him.
Bonnie:
Designed to steal stuff, Clyde’s partner in crime. Unlike Clyde, Bonnie never let herself be “turned good” because she couldn’t stand admitting she was wrong, or that Lilo & Stitch outsmarted her the night she and Clyde were landed in prison. For 30 years she held a grudge and loudly announced that it was Clyde’s fault they were in the slammer, and even more loudly declared her own value as a “great criminal mind” even when nobody was listening. She is the first to join 621’s team and drag Clyde along with her, after intercepting Jumby’s message and learning who 621 was from Nosy at an EARWAX reunion. Bonnie likes to think of herself as 621’s right-hand-lady, and doesn’t even mind calling him “boss” as long as she gets to boss the rest of the team around. Usually, while 621 is hiding on Lehua, Bonnie serves as his voice, eyes, and ears during their little missions. Though she and he have a lot in common, insecurity and grudge-holding-wise, 621 is only focused on his revenge. Bonnie ignores Clyde more and more often, when she doesn’t outright scream at him, because he makes her feel guilty about betraying the Ohana.
Crystallene:
Designed to crystallize materials. Crystallene never felt at home again after her boss, Mertle’s father Karl Edmunds, passed away. She left her One True Place when 621 found her, pointed out how distant the Ohana had become, and exacerbated her feelings of being out-of-place at the Tourist Shop. Crystallene has never thought much of herself and is afraid of her power, but 621 continues to tell her how amazing she is...and she doesn’t notice he’s doing that whenever she does something that benefits HIM. 621 is careful with how he uses her though, knowing she’s squeamish about her power and doubting she has the courage to face the Ohana after leaving them. So he has her constructing a base out of crystals and old spaceship parts in the caverns on Niihau...and the Ohana doesn’t know Crystallene has defected to the naughty Experiments until she becomes responsible for crystallizing Jumba. Crystallene is closest with Comet, like sisters, but she is a little afraid of pretty much everyone else on the team. She is the only one who doesn’t find Trip irritating.
Jay:
Designed to record conversations and activities, and 621’s tried and true method of spying on the other island and the Ohana. Jay joined up with 621 for the promise of freedom, but more specifically, living outdoors again. No matter how long he worked with Mertle’s Aunt Stacy in his One True Place, she never seemed to notice his claustrophobia. He was easily manipulated by 621 and is now entirely loyal. 621 doesn’t mind that Jay can only record 3-minute clips of Stitch and Lilo’s activities. He likes that Jay’s function only allows him to play things for 621, exclusively: that makes 621 feel special and powerful, even if only in a small way. And Jay has always been motivated by being told he’s doing a good job and praised for his efforts. On his best days, he gets that feedback from 621, even if it comes with a lot of snot and crazy maniacal laughter.
621:
“Chopsuey” is the leader, the big kahuna, the one who started it all on the islands of Niihau and Lehua. He manipulated every other Experiment on the team into joining, and is singlemindedly focused on revenge. His first plan is to turn 626’s cousins against him, but he can’t seem to accomplish that all at once. So the next was to cause trouble wherever he could: sending his minions to trash a family picnic, or start trouble in town, or kidnap other cousins. But finally 621 decided he wanted to join the fights himself instead of pulling the strings in secret. To do that, he thought he needed to be his bigger, more powerful, mutant self. So his current plan is to kidnap his creator, Jumba himself, and force him to mutate 621. 621 is so crazy, at this point, that he has an uncanny knack for frightening, bullying, and carefully convincing his little army to do just about anything.
Klamp:
Designed to immobilize people with his stubborn bite. Klamp serves as 621’s stepstool for big speeches on the island, or guards the green Experiment’s personal cave, or simply keeps Lilo, Stitch, or any other hero from running to the rescue when the naughty Experiments go out to cause chaos. This is because Klamp, who used to be totally loyal to Officer Kahiko before his engagement, has transferred that loyalty to 621. He gets along well with Grindz and Prism, but is jealous of Bonnie and Jay’s nearness to 621 and will straight-up lock his jaws around Trip’s leg any time he gets the chance. For fun.
Flame:
Possibly the most dangerous member of 621’s gang, designed to burst into flames. An alien torch, all 621 has to do to use this Experiment to his advantage is remind him of the same things he used to manipulate Flame in the first place: that the Ohana doesn’t care about him, is afraid of him, and think he’s a walking disaster. So Flame is with 621 just to make himself feel useful and wanted. He willingly combusts and burns with anger any time he sees a member of the Ohana, now, but he keeps stopping short of actually attacking one. He doesn’t know why; if he’s angry at them, and 621 says his burning things is awesome, then lighting Stitch’s blue butt on fire should be no problem. But Flame can’t seem, in the heat of battle, to do it. He always finds himself growling and snarling and burning through a building or any nearby scenery, instead. He is standoffish and antisocial even with other members of 621’s group. Trip, particularly, stays away from Flame because he’s annoying by nature and Flame’s temper is easy to ignite.
Trip:
Designed to create portals. Trip was singled out by 621 when the green Experiment found out what he could do. 621 knew that, with a little guidance to make up for Trip’s unfortunate inability to teleport to the correct places, this Experiment could be prefect for getting his gang in and out of attacks. He convinced Trip that the Ohana never believed in him, because of course, they’d never even tried to help Trip reach his full potential. Trip believed 621, but he also mainly joined the gang and left the Ohana because he was just bored at his One True Place. 621 did not train Trip, instead using Crystallene to trick Trainer into doing it. Now Trip is much better at dropping the gang of hooligans into Kokaua Town square to make a mess, and then teleporting them right back out again before Lilo & Stitch get them corralled. His most impressive feat was when 621 decided to bust Leroy out of prison, but even then, Trip could only teleport the gang into the hallways of the prison Asteroid instead of opening a portal directly into the cell. Then he got injured before they could make their escape, and ever since he’s been trying to prove he can still be valuable to the team. But the bump on the noggin he got messed up his programming, and now his ability to open portals to the right places is worse than ever.
Grindz:
Designed to pulverize strongholds. Grindz’s singleminded destructive capabilities were a must-have for 621’s team. That, and the fact that Bonnie remembered how hard it was for even Stitch to fight the big guy to a standstill, back in the day. Grindz is not a gentle giant, but he does have PTSD from battles, and he isn’t the smartest guy around. Other than that, he’s nearly indestructible and unstoppable when he decides to destroy something. 621 manipulated him by pointing out that Nani, Grindz’s favorite family member, no longer spends time with him now that she has her son Kai and Lilo back. Now Grindz fills the hole in his big heart with Prism, who can calm him down after nightmares with her slow flashing technique. He spends a lot of his time heavy-lifting spaceship parts for 621 to turn into their home base, and chasing Trip around when he gets pranked.
Prism:
Designed to blind people with flashes of light. Prism never liked her One True Place and after the Coliseum battle with the Leroy army, she realized how much of a thrill she got out of fighting. 621 convinced her to leave the Ohana easily. She is closest to Grindz, but Trip has a giant crush on her. He stole Jumba’s illumination gauntlets to try and win her affections, but 621 took all the credit when they equipped Prism with them. Now Prism is twice as big a threat in fights, moving quickly and acting like a living flash grenade. She’s also getting pointers from Bonnie on how to be stealthy, and plays a large role in getting Leroy out of prison. Prism finds herself doubting the choice to be on 621’s team the most when she sees how disappointed Lilo is in her, but she tries to ignore that and please 621, instead. After all, who would look out for Grindz if she wasn’t there to protect the big lunk from 621’s temper tantrums?
So this is the team! I’m willing to divulge more information and answer any questions about them in the comments below! Also, let me know if you think I should shade the characters.
