Saw this on Tumblr and at first, I thought it was Remedios Varo. Very cool!

Awesome in the literal meaning of the word.
An aside – I am currently collaborating on writing a novel called The Ouroboros. I like the synchronicy of stumbing upon your illustration.

I like the way the picture has so much going on. it is quite a bit to look at, Can you tell me anything about the bike demon or the demon rider, (are they demons??) It is awesome to say the least

the whole thing started out as a joke sketch first. One of those impossible movements (just imagine it animated). No demons here, just plain sillyness.

Very imaginative, some hearing for that poor bird at the bottom left, can it fly like Dumbo?

ArtOfTheMystic In reply to bakkeby [2011-03-01 02:30:45 +0000 UTC]
no, can't fly. it's one of those flightless creatures, a fledgling actually, that amble about aimlessly, looking sad, watching for worms being run over to feed on.

very cool... very. should probably play with brightness/contrast of the scan a little though, not to alter it that much but to help it read better; brightness -25, contrast +15 seemed to work pretty well.

Wow, that's really pretty... awesome... The scan sucks, though, its all blurry. But really, great work!
