HautamekiPL In reply to ??? [2010-05-18 15:57:49 +0000 UTC]

and what do you mean in this > "Your image reference"?

What's is? I have seen in included shellstyle.dll and there is always "themeable" in all..
What's themeable?
What i need to put to "Your image reference here"? There's a .png file?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Artur89SD In reply to HautamekiPL [2010-05-18 22:57:43 +0000 UTC]

themeable(dtb(CommandModule, 2, 1), windowtext)
themeable is the basic function
dtb = draw theme background (this draw a image, a color or a gradient defined in msstyles)
CommandModule = the class to be used
2 = the part to be used
1 = the state to be used
windowtext = a color to be used if " CommandModule > 2 > 1 " do not exist

if you have a resource hacker, you can add bitmaps to the shellstyle
than, you need replace "Your image reference here" with "resbmp(200,6,0,0,0,0,0)" where 200 is the number of the image to be used.

ERMaCDR In reply to Artur89SD [2010-05-20 18:56:01 +0000 UTC]

having troubles with WSB I decide to add bitmaps to the shellstyle, check it [link]

But, why you don't change commandmodule text color to white, as in previewpane?

PS: I found "Wireless Network Pane" and i will update my post soon, so I recommend you to wait the update.

Explorer and Shell > Explorer > CommandModule > 4 > 1 (TEXTCOLOR:COLOR)
Explorer and Shell > Explorer > CommandModule > 5 > 1 (TEXTCOLOR:COLOR)
Explorer and Shell > Control Panel > CommandModule > Unknown > Unknown (TEXTCOLOR:COLOR) appears three times

ERMaCDR In reply to Artur89SD [2010-05-21 03:45:59 +0000 UTC]

oh thanks, now look nice. Another little question on above message you put this "resbmp(200,6,0,0,0,0,0)" where 200 is the number of the image to be used. what means 6 and the rest of 0. is just for know

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Artur89SD In reply to ERMaCDR [2010-05-21 22:55:50 +0000 UTC]

resbmp(BMP_ID, RENDER_FLAG, TRANSPARENT_COLOR, WIDTH, HEIGHT, SIZE_FLAG, MIRROR)

BMP_ID: Number of the image
RENDER_FLAG: 1 = normal, 2 = 32 bit bitmap (content), 3 = tile, 6 = stretch, 7 = 32 bit bitmap (background)
TRANSPARENT_COLOR: #RRGGBB, use -1 for no transparency
SIZE_FLAG: 1 = use bitmap dimensions, 0 = use explicit dimensions
MIRROR: 0 = normal, 1 mirror

Hi.I'm crazy about this.

Since Panda already released his M7R2 and he won't change his folderband position and everything that concerns it, it's high time for you to release your theme with all that dlls.

Really I can't wait anymore.

i am working on documentation. i am using my modified dlls with several themes, and i do not find any bug. so i think this is ready to be released. when i finish the documentation and a demonstrative theme, this will be released. I can say this will be soon.

are you using 64 or 32Bit?

because i'm using 64bit from using your latest file, the blue controlpanel on appwiz is gone.. (fonttext.dll works fine)

btw, i've seen that one file in syswow64 and system32 is switched.
(i think it was DeviceCenter)
and it works for me already when changing your files only in system32, syswow64 not needed..

i've changed your links in the mui.txt of the the additional dll's from genericlayoutstyle to commonitemdialoglayoutstyle, so another previewpane can be set in msstyle.. (if it's not set, the theme doesn't crash)

i want to release these mui.txt files with an update of my theme
(like my screenshot in LHF-Group), if you give your permission?

Hello sunBeam2000!
I'm replying again because i'm not sure of that you said is right.
you said "fontext.dll works fine", and this is the switched file.
you said "blue controlpanel on appwiz is gone", and i checked, it seems to be right.
Do you checked the games folder?
Can you send me a screenshot, please?
I not changed the links, this is original from microsoft. All i did is change the layout!
I'm not saying you is wrong. But is a little bit strange that the only additional file that works is the switched one.

sunBeam2000 In reply to Artur89SD [2010-04-20 06:13:57 +0000 UTC]

as i recognized it is the wrong version i took the other one, which has the same filesize as the original one and it worked then..

i thought it was DeviceCenter.dll but i'm not 100% sure anymore..

and i believe to remember, that in appwiz.cpl > 302.txt the previewpane was still on bottom at first, i changed it to "Top" and it worked like in the screenshot

[link]

Fontext works fine (Topshell and blue command-pane)
Games and DeviceCenter also..

Artur89SD In reply to sunBeam2000 [2010-04-20 23:04:11 +0000 UTC]

I was wrong.
The version I had saved on my PC had never been uploaded.
Try to download again. this is updated.
Replace only Appwiz and fontext

sunBeam2000 In reply to Artur89SD [2010-04-21 18:20:41 +0000 UTC]

appwiz still has BottomPane on updated file. but now with blue ControlPanel-Pane again..
Fixed the Pane-Location in MUI-TXT in my theme.. works fine now..

Thank You so much for this great work!

Artur89SD In reply to sunBeam2000 [2010-04-23 02:02:40 +0000 UTC]

you're right.
only the "previewpane above folderband x64" stay bugged.
the x86 version and complete top shell layout don't have bugs.

I have a good new. I found a way to have fourteen different images on previewpane on one single theme.
This weekend i will release a preview and maybe a RC version for who want, test and help me to fix the bugs that this can have.

sunBeam2000 In reply to Artur89SD [2010-04-23 07:37:38 +0000 UTC]

sounds interesting

but 14 panes is a lot..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Artur89SD In reply to sunBeam2000 [2010-04-23 23:42:14 +0000 UTC]

I know. But if I release a version with support fewer pictures, anyone can change it to get more different images, causing compatibility problems.
In addition to that, so I've made modifications, any theme will work perfectly, and a single theme can make full use of the capabilities of my shell32 maintaining full compatibility with standard shell32.

very good work..

the most important thing, it's stable with every theme.. (bugs don't matter, they are fixable)

meanwhile i got so used to your "previewpane above folderband".. i like this arrangement so much on daily work. to tell the truth even more than commandmudule in previewpane (like in vista days)..
for me it's the best innovation since ages..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Artur89SD In reply to sunBeam2000 [2010-04-17 17:04:50 +0000 UTC]

many thanks.
the idea of "previewpane above folderband" is not an innovation. This comes from longhorn Rock Concept video 1:18 . But anyway this give me much work to do. And i like this layout so much too, but Longhornfusion posted the preview, without a release date preview, so i decided to do this by my own because I couldn't wait to see this working.
