Description All right good members of *artworkshop , we are officially starting Drawing and Painting Exercises that will require members to work on bettering their drawing skills. This series of Exercises are meant to help you grow as an artist. We hope that by assigning specific work that it will not only force you to work on specific things geared towards heavy improvement, but it will also force you to actually due work. I find that if I don't have deadlines or specific goals, then I never get anything done, and by giving members these things I hope it will encourage people to do the work. I want everyone who participates in this to send me a link to their work for a Follow-Up Journal by Wednesday June 27th. (PLEASE NOTE: You can continue to do this exercise for as long as you would like. And if you are late coming into the club, you can still do this assignment and recieve feed back. You will just not be in the follow-up journal.)

If you would rather see the html version, you can go here: To The HTML Version

If you have any questions, feel free to not the club with "Exercise 1" in the title. Also, if you would rather speak to =xaxona personally, please feel free to note her too with the same title. On June 27th, there will be a new Assignment posted and I expect to see notes from everyone who participated in the first Exercise giving me links to their weeks full of drapery studies. If you do not want your work to be shown off or talked about on a Follow-Up journal, please say so. And please identify any difficulties you faced or any other comments about this experience.

P.S. I know this is a big file, but it's worth it. The html version has been provided for this reason. Thanks

This is a great idea. I remember doing the same thing at school, but in one lesson you dont get a chance to repeat and improve much. Im off work ill today so you may have just filled my day with usefulness... been worried that im spending too much time with a keyboard at my fingers instead of a pencil/paintbrush!

Excellent! I am glad to hear that this could fill your day with usefulness. That is exactly what I was hoping for! Yes, a lot of the things I will be posting are things I learned from school, except I plan on giving people enough time to do it over and over again. Hopefully everyone will continue on even after the next assignment is up! I look forward to seeing your work!
