Description

Purpose built as a compact fleet carrier, the Veneras is a lightly armed carrier, carrying turrets that are more often used for point defense rather than being turned on other sub-capital ships. While it is standard to load twenty fighters, the Veneras is capable of carrying nearly double that, though carrier operations become less efficient as the hangar becomes increasingly crowded. Much like any Imperial vessel, it is loaded with an abundance of escape craft, easily able to evacuate the entire crew of the vessel even if several of its escape craft were destroyed before evacuation had begun.
