Drawn for *Dwelian of her gorgeous character, Fahren. Done for EquineXChange on LiveJournal. Check it out if you like to draw horses! I saw Dwelian post information on Fahren and thought, what a cool character! She was fun to draw, though challenging. The pose I picked was difficult, in case you're curious. The hindquarters are off, but other than that I'm quite happy with her. The background was something totally new for me, it was done in watercolor pencils, then went over with colored pencils. Thank you! The amount of detail is mostly a trick of the eye, though. Just putting a few little light or dark gray lines in a couple places, and tada! Flowing hair!
