So, here's a piece I've been working on for awhile. I love how the horse came out. I don't know that the scan really captured the color in its coat. As suggested, I have no idea what to name it.I figured I would post it and get some suggestions for a background. Any ideas what would really complement the scene? Thoughts, ideas?
Plus, you can see I'm still drawing, even if it's not as frequently.

You could still do like part of a lake, giving way to kind of a foresty brush type background, eliminates most of the sky, and raptors used to reside in that type of biome

How about a part of a small lake and some reeds on the left hand side?

I hadn't thought of a lake. I like the idea of a leafy tree on that side, but the sky behind would be more than a little challenging in pencil. I'm wondering if I do the three in pencil, if I can do a good sky in pastel or watercolor without messing anything else up?
