In celebration of Halloween.
And for =WrathOfNessis 's Halloween Contest.

Fancy and her standard poodle make their way to the Halloween party. And, like most poodles, this little girl just can't wait!

So I wanted to do a piece with a poodle skirt. What can I say? I love poodles and I love my poodle skirt! Mine actually looks like this, even though I didn't pull it out to draw the poodle. It's got the cute hearts and the poodle shape is actually the cutest I saw! I had originally intended to do the poodle walking calmly beside her, but I couldn't get it right. Then watching Dogs 101 (featuring poodles that episode!) I knew I had to show their rambunctiousness. The poodle's coloring is modeled after my Cora, but it's not exact. And if you want my opinion, poodles are one of the best dog breeds out there!

As some of you may have guessed, this is Fancy. In anthro form. Surprised? I had originally thought to do a palomino horse, but *Shadowrulz3164 contacted me to ask how I was coming and I asked if he wanted Fancy drawn as an anthro. The skirt was already colored, so it was a little challenging to keep her color without blending with the skirt. It's why she's more brown.

So, I still have issues with human-type forms. It seems like the further you get in the coloring process, the more you see that's wrong. But I do hope to improve and that means working at it! No reference was used for either figure, except for verifying Fancy's markings. So that's why they look goofy.
