Description
With this painting I tried to catch a very special and magic moment. Imagine there might exist a world which is totally different to the one you believe to know: physical rules work completely different and always with a pinch of magic inside. There it might be usual to spread out your arms like wings and start flying through an atmosphere where raising gases move you slowly from one point to another.In this world there also exist gases which illuminate the atmosphere with their fluorescence. Only the highpriests of magic - druids - are allowed to catch this mystical light and use it for their secret rituals. My painting tries to catch the moment, when a druid closes his light catcher lamp around a raising bubble of magical gas.

Thank you. This was one of my first steps with watercolors ... and the cold pressed paper helped me to create effects I had never in mind ... at this time, because I started with a bigger experience in acrylic colors.
Yaamas , a dear friend of mine showed me how to work with watercolor.

Die Coloration ist grandios! Die Hintergründe und auch das Licht sowie auch der Alte. Alles wirkt weich und die Farben leuchten trotz ihrer weichen Töne. Das Gesicht des Alten sieht freundlich aus und die Strichführung gefällt mir wirklich gut.

Wow, this looks like a book Illustration or something, you definitely have impressive skills
I really can't find anything to criticise here or even any suggestions - I like it very much overall. The way you painted the wood and leaves, the suggested background, the light and even more so the druid's strong shadow - the druid's face is probably my favourite part, he looks adorable!
