Description
As the Water class progressed, Djehuti grew more and more excited. Through practicing all four basic elements, and due in no small part to his observations of Nymble who seemed to be able to perform magic in an unusually natural manner, Djehuti felt he was getting very close to understanding the key, the foundation principle of magic. He would have to confirm his theory of course, and test if he could figure out a way to do that, but he was fairly sure was finally onto something. And even then, knowing the how was only the first step.But for now, there was the water assignment. Using the mental exercise he'd developed for himself, it did not take him long to be able to condense the water in the air, but Djehuti intended to go a step further, demonstrating his knowledge of the properties of condensation and evaporation. Collecting a good amount of water, a small towel, a couple of clay pots, a bottle and some sand, he poured some sand into the bottom of the large pot, placed a smaller pot inside it on top of the sand, then filled in the gap between the outside of the smaller pot and the inside of the larger with the rest of the sand. He then poured some of the water into the bottle and used more to wet the sand inside the pots. Lastly, he wet the towel and draped it over the top of the pots. The best part was that with the other students practicing condensing water in the area, the water in the sand and towel would evaporate quickly, making his clay pot cooler chill much faster! Once it was nice and cold inside he would place the bottle of water in it and have a nice, refreshing chilled drink in a few minutes.
It was fortunate for him, though, that this was a magic class and not a social class, because he was utterly failing in that respect; surrounded by Wyngrew who seemed to be having terrible days, Djehuti was oblivious to their hardship because he was too absorbed in his concentration and focus to notice, even as a downcast Slushy passed by him on the verge of tears. His mother would be disappointed... she still holds some hope that he will not grow up to be so much like his father.

Thanks! The proportions came off a little weird but I'm OK with it, I'll improve later, hehe. I had fun with the water glob effect, and Slushy's expression.

Nice job & thank you for the Slushie cameo!!!
I really like the idea of the water cooling in the clay pots! Djehuti seems really knowledgable and very regal to me :3
Slushy got it eventually. Lots of trail and error ;w;

You're welcome! I meant to include the whole water class including her in my first homework pic but I forgot. >.> I figured from the description of your image that she is just having a hard time in right now (not just from the class but life in general). I'm glad you like it and hope I got the expression down. I like her, especially the contrasting but complimentary color scheme and her floppy, grungy hat, heh.
