Something I sketched just now. They look kind'a stupid like this, don't they? ^_^" What happened to that face-memory thing I'd built up for drawing Mozenrath? >_>" This is why I must use references - lots of references. (I did use a little bit of ref for Aladdin's hair, though. I haven't quite figured his hair out yet) ...there's something I kind'a like about the pic, though. I donno.It's something based on near the end of one of my lesser liked Aladdin fic ideas, one of the ones I never thought of a name for.
It's also one of the picture ideas I've had for a contest entry. None of the ideas I've had for that contest seem exactly right, though. I might end up not entering it. I was excited for the contest at first, though.

The expressions here are great, you are right about the pose looking slightly awkward. I'd love to see this and the new sketch come together.

hm... I thought I had the finished pic in the description, but I guess not. This is what I ended up with fav.me/d7keyfd (though I was wanting to adjust a few things I'd messed up on and/or didn't have time to complete ...sometime) The expressions are a bit less exaggerated, but I tried to keep them similar. Aladdin ended up looking a bit emotionless, though. Hard to draw raised eyebrows or wide eyes at that angle (and that was after I had changed the angle from my pose photos to make it easier to draw).
