A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for TF: CYBERTRON Hot Shot I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy, and then edited by me.Tracks. Obviously. So much in common with the Hot Shot/Excellion mold. I decided to go a little different with this repaint. I did a STRAIGHT Excellion re-deco. I switched a few of the paint apps around (colorwise) but I used the exact same deco pattern. I think I could have done a little better, painting the whole head white and all, adding more blue to the chest, etc. But this time, I wanted to go this way. Dunno why. I still think it manages to look good, and I still think it manages to make a good Tracks homage.

Artwork is © Hasbro, only edited and colored by me (and halfassed at that) in plain ol' MS paint. Do not edit, re-use, or re-color.

Wooo! That's great! I'd buy anything that's blue and called Tracks, but this is a great mold for him. I never thought of it before. As it happens, I'm watching Auto-Bop right now.

*shudders* any episode with g1 tracks in it is...well...at least hasbro and whoever made the cartoon were pioneers in equal opertunity long before their time, heh

Y'know, I'm still amazed that this mold lends itself so much to repainting. With the addition of what you've managed to do with your repaint ideas, Hasbro'd have a field day planning eventual recolored releases of Cyb Hot Shot and Excellion well into 2008. Heh heh.
And I like that you kept the paint apps pattern from the toy. Makes it look just that different enough from the original to give it some personality. Very good job.
