A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for TF: CYBERTRON Buzzsaw I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy.Ok, some repaint ideas are good. Some are bad. Some are a MUST. And some of them are just the way things should BE. This is one of those. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Cybertron Waspinator. A repaint to his old BW mold companion, Buzzsaw. This was another of ~SigmaCore ’s Cybertron repaint ideas, the big Waspy fan he is and all. To be honest, I was a little apprehensive. I mean, I’m a huge Waspy fan too, and while Buzzsaw managed to pull off the helicopter mode off, I had my doubts about Waspy. I mean, turn him into a motorcycle, that makes sense to me, but a chopper? Nevertheless, I see the logic in using the Buzzsaw mold and gave it a shot. Besides, the Cyclonus/Buzzsaw mold is one of my all time favorites, so it couldn’t go too wrong. Well, I am a believer now. This came out 100 times better then I ever imagined it could. It LOOKS like Waspinator as a helicopter. It looks appropriate and nothing looks too out of placed or far-fetched. It looks RIGHT. So there ya go. Cybertron Waspinator.

This is a pretty damn good repaint ya did, Assey. It deviates from my own version slightly (since for one I didn't use Waspy's direct toy colors to make it), but it's still a sweet repaint that just NEEDS to see the light of day from Hasbro. Maybe those two 'new' Armada retools announced a while back will be Buzzsaw repainted as Waspinator and Runamuck as his G1 self, but called Wheeljack (so as to keep the name trademarked or whatever.) *Hopes*

Glad ya like it. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. Not like you have to twist my arm to buy ANY Cyclonus repaint/remold, but like you said, this is a toy that needs to get made.
Unfortunatly though, the 2 armada remolds are yet ANOTHER blurr one, and a bendy prime one. Unfortunatly. I'm pissed about that. i hope they do some more in the last few repaint waves, but who knows.

not likely. i'm not a huge fan of the beast era characterts. with certain exceptions like Waspinator and the almighty RAMPAGE. besides, i just don't think most beasts can translate very well into most vehicle forms. sorry.

Never thought of Waspinator as a repaint of this remold. I have no idea why since it's so OBVIOUS.
I've been wanting to draw Starscream JUST so I could repaint the drawing as a seeker Waspinator.

heh, and here i was thinking the exact opposite, wishing i had the line art of Transmetal Waspinator so i could repaint that as Starscream, heh

not horribel but he needs a new head think machine wars Skywarp/Thundercracker or the Beast Machines deluxe Jetstorm mold head they look bug like and would suit him nicely. overall the redeco is very well done. If Hasbro coudl deco teh bold and retool teh head as i staed i'd buy him in a sparkbeat.

Remind me to show you one that someone did on the AllSpark boards, when they come back on-line. He did a 3D render of the mold with a new head that looks more like Waspy, since he used the mutant head.
