A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Energon Cruellock downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]

Ok, everybody keeps talking about how the Cruellock repaint we’re gonna get ‘looks like Grimlock’. I think that’s crap, and I don’t see it personally. I do, however, agree that Cruellock would make a sweet Grimlock figure, if nothing, being a little small for such a big, bad, main character. Still though, this mold just lends itself to this repaint. That’s what’s great about all the Omnicons/Predacons other then Skyblast and Strongarm. No molded faction symbols so they could be on either side. That’s what sucks about the molded symbols. Yeah they look good as hell, but they seriously limit repainting possibilities. I think ALL faction symbols should be on separate little plastic plates, (Like Arm Demolishor or En Jetfire) so they can be switched if and when necessary. Anyways, I had this figure done quite some time before the Cruellock ‘Grimlockish’ repaint came out. And I think this version is still WAY better. Yet another one I’m quite proud of and wish I could see (and have) in actual toy form.
