A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for RiD (Robots In Disguise) Megatron I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy.Well, here’s the final entry into the “Gestalt Project” Terrorcons, team leader Hun-Grrr. Had quite a hard time trying to decide which mold to use for him, between BW T-rex Megatron, BW TM Megatron, BW TM2 Megatron, BM Megatron, and RiD Megatron. In the end, the two-headed dragon mode for RiD Megatron was just to close to pass up on. And I only scanned and did repaints for his robot and dragon mode, because I just didn’t have the time and/or patience to scan, clean, and color his other 8 freaking modes (besides, I only have Megatron’s instructions, with the 6 modes, and not Galvatron’s, with the full 10). It’s not as perfect a repaint as I thought it would be when I was messing around with the toy, trying to envision the color swap, but It’s close enough and plenty recognizable as Hun-Grrr. Overall, It’s not all it potentially could be, but I’m too tired to care frankly, heh. It’s close and good enough for me. And if worst comes to worst, he’s not nearly as bad as Blot, so he’s always got that at least, heh…

Man, this really came out way better than I thought it would, considering how you told me that most of the RiD instructions where of low-grade quality. Colors seem perfect and you can't really mistake him for anybody else, either.

Actually, RiD instructions are all pretty good, but for a good number of them, they add this really dark shadow to them, that just comes out as a big black blob when scanned. Megatron luckilly didn't have this. I'm glad ya feel he makes a good Hun-Grrr homage, as a good bit of his white and dark gray plastics are swapped and not in the exact same place as the g1 version, but i thought and hoped that it came out close enough.
And as for the 3 colors, it's actually 4. The white (purple on rid megs), the dark gray (black on rid megs), the pink/purple bits (clearish red on rid megs), and the clear pink for the wings (clear purple on rid megs). All the silver pieces are suposed to be chromed, as they were on rid megatron (though in a plethera of different colors, heh), but they're all actually more of the "white/purple batch" of plastic. I'm sure this thing is done in numersous mold trees, based simply on how many billion pieces he's made of, but this is the only way we've seen a megatron/galvatron, so there was nothing much more I could do, heh.
