A 'repaint' I did using the Instructions for Armada Smokescreen downloaded from [link] .This is supposed to be Wreckers Leader Impactor from the G1 UK comic. He never did get a figure, and Smokescreen's just seemed to have so many similar features; big, boxy chest, the big shoulder cannon/crane, as well as the towline, which the real Impactor had on his hand rather then chest, but I still think it fits in nicely here. We never saw WHAT the g1 Impactor transformed into, though with the cannon, it was probably a tank of some sort. Considering Smokescreen's crane can turn into the largest cannon any TF toy ever had, I don't think this vehicle mode is TOO much of a stretch. Overall, I think this mold would make a kick ass Impactor.
I don't exactly have a name for the Minicon. It COULD be Emirate Xaaron, as it does have the yellow-gold/gray, as he did, but...eh...I may plan on giving Emirate Xaaron his own repaint, so we'll just leave him nameless. He can have a generic new Minicon name, like SO many of them already have.

Nice job on making Armada Smokescreen into G1 Impactor. For his Minicon, I was thinking Liftor or Refute could still work, like it did with Smokescreen in Armada, as well as renaming him Refute when Smokescreen upgraded to Hoist.

Thanks. Yeah, I know the Armada Smokescreen mold has seen a lot of hate. Personally, I always liked it, but thought of a hundred better ways to color it. I've got a few more that I'll hopefully get up here too, but this is definitly the best. Helps that Impactor is a badass of a character that DESERVES a damn toy finally though.

Yup, that it so true. The mold has taken alot of abuse lately...
But with color schemes like the one you put on this one, I know I'd buy two of him in a minute.

Yeah. I sometimes think he gets more abuse then the plastic abortion that is Armada Sideswipe. Talk about bastardizing a kick ass char. with a lame ass toy. I've seen bootleg and generic tf's far, far better then that thing. Doesn't stop me from repainting the hell out of it though, heh 
And I agree, I'd buy one of these puppies too. All my repaints are toys I wish I COULD buy.

Yeah, big TF fan here. No artistic skills, so ALL I can do is recolor the TF Instructions. I like all incarnations of TF, but G1 is definitly my fav. Most, if not ALL of my Armada and Energon 'repaints' are of g1 homages after all, heh.
