Description A 'repaint' I did using the Instructions for Energon Divebomb downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]

I originally planned on doing ALL the original first season Decepticons that hadn’t had homage’s in Energon yet with what molds I could. Laserbeak here is part of Soundwave and his cassetticons. (Only have about half the cassettes done) I really, really, REALLY like how this one turned out. Probably one of the works I’m more proud of. Nothing special, though he does have a bit more ‘paint’ then I would normally give a figure. While that might look garish on another toy, it seems to just fit in with Laserbeak here. Everything just seemed to fall into place looks-wise with this figure. I love the black and red ‘ninja’ look the bot mode has. While everyone else is dreaming of their E Divebombs looking like the G1 Predacon Divebomb, I think Laserbeak here is where it’s REALLY at, heh.

This one is truly awesome. Your use of purple for the energon parts is a really good idea here, as it actually accentuates (spelling?) Laserbeaks colors.

I'd actually buy two of these anyday (four if you do a Buzzsaw repaint )

Heh, yep, plannin on it, but haven't started yet. Got a sweet overkill out of Cruellock though (and a mediocre rumble and frenzy out of Signal Flare)

Hmm, I have a Overkill/Cruellock repaint to... . I'm sure your will be better than mine tho', since your working with a reprentation of the toy and I'm stuck doing mine with a superdeformed icon (not that I mind, truth be told ).

Hey, I love the SD icons. I'm amazed people can get as much detain and 'character' into the tiny little things. And don't be so sure about the instruction pics looking better, a lot of them look like SHIT. The E Ironhide ones don't even show his HEAD. At all?! And E Prowl's is awkwardly posed to not show a lot of him, AND it has the wrong head (though it's kinds cool, heh). I could go on, but...I think you get the point. Besides, you're doin yours from scratch, so bonus points for that.
