The ring was chaos but Mercury made a beeline for the fallen silver. He'd watched a boar gore her with its tusks only a moment before he or any others could reach her. Udi and Croatan had already appeared by her side as Mercury swerved to avoid a raging boar and the felines that tackled it. To both his pride and fear, many of the stone cats had chosen to be released. Fighting for their lives in the chaotic situation they found themselves.

Thinking he would reach them at last Mercury was suddenly tossed to the dirt as a boar clipped him in the legs and continued charging past. Groaning Mercury jumped to his paws. Limping slightly as he looked back up to get his bearings. Boudica was gone? His head snapped from side to side trying to find her body and those who had been protecting her. The healer finally spotted them after a long moment. They had dragged the unconscious silver to a spot near the wall. A better place for defence. Racing over, the healer only briefly met the eyes of those around the silver gladiator as he immediately went to place his paws over the gaping wound.

Blood spilled over his paws and it brought a worried frown to his face. If she didn't stop bleeding soon there was no way she would survive. He eyed the trail of blood she'd left anxiously. His eyes flicking up to the fights breaking out between felines and boars. Udi finally backed closer to Mercury with a mixed look of determination and dread on his face. A silent question unspoken between them.

"I can handle this." The healer spoke firmly. "Fight. Make sure I have as much time as possible to treat her wound. I'll do everything I can here."

Udi's trusting stare was one that Mercury would never take for granted and as he watched the felines around him join the fights he turned his attention back to Boudica and the blood soaking into his paws.

"Come one Boudica. You can't do this to us yet. You can't leave. We all joined this fight for you. So you have to live through it." He muttered to her under his breath while he worked to staunch the bleeding.

Mercury has joined the fight and gone to do what he does best. Saving the lives of his empire mates.
Boudica is severely injured and her life is hanging by the thin thread of fate. But, she has a healer at her side and dedicated empire mates defending her. Fate must be kind to this band of felines fighting for their lives.
